So why does age matter? The 60 and 70 year old classic rock artists put the younger generations to shame. That is because we had to create from what we had it was hard. There was no auto tune and no electronics…. and that is why those 70-year olds will forever be super talented. 🤷‍♀️

I am SO SO glad the sisters are back together. I never liked it when they were apart. It makes them WHOLE again. And not just as the group Heart. But as two siblings that share the same blood. That's what's most important. Because life is just to damn short not to folks. Now onto Ann Wilson is her voice not timeless...!!! This woman has TRULY been gifted. I have been told i have a vocal gift but i am no where near what Ann is. She's just in a different class altogether. She pampers and takes care of her voice as the instrument it is. My hubster & I won a contest & got to hang out with Ann, Nancy, their band, & their dog at their last rehearsal at the Moore Theater in Seattle, before they started their Desire Walks On tour in the early 90's. There were only DJ's & promoters there, & then the 2 of us. They were so very kind & even asked us to babysit their dog while they were on stage. Let me just say, it was by far the coolest thing we've ever gotten to do....other than swimming with sharks & Manta Rays in Hawaii, but that's another story.

I saw these ladies' 47 years this August at Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey. It was their "Little Queen " tour and the day Elvis died. Someone had a transistor radio outside while we were waiting to go in and heard the news. As Nancy said, they were big fans of Led Zeppelin, and they closed the show with "Rock and Roll" dedicated to the King.

@vernhoke7730 The time you saw Heart in New Jersey also happened to be three weeks after the somewhat conflicted ending of the 1977 U.S. Tour by Led Zeppelin at the Oakland Coliseum in California when the original four members played what three years later proved to be their last ever U.S. concert appearance, when singer Robert Plant was notified his young son had died of a illness and the drummer John Bonham along with Led Zep manager Peter Grant were badly roughing up someone in the backstage area at the Coliseum, the stories about what occured that day have all been substantiated in other volumes written about the band and I'm certain can easily be accessed with Google. On the day of the New Jersey concert that you saw Heart performing, I was in a week long football summer preseason camp with my high school varsity team, the camp was being held at a private school that a few decades later would be discontinued that was located in the small town of Spring Grove in the southern area of Pennsylvania, about halfway between Hanover, Pa. and York, Pa., the coach of my football team was the true life character that was dramatized by actor Denzel Washington in the Hollywood Disney movie "Remember The Titans". The coach was heading into his seventh year as the coach for the team at that point in time, those scenes in the film at the camp were mostly close to being what I also experienced that week although the screenplay storyline of the movie was almost completely fictionalized. Over the six weeks leading up to the night that you saw Heart in New Jersey, my younger brother and I were buying up the entire Led Zeppelin album catalog, a couple albums each at a time at a E.J. Korvettes department store until we had the full set of their albums at the end of that same week when you saw Heart perform in New Jersey. Thanks for allowing me to share my unsolicited recollections of that week in August.

That would be so great, but sadly rock has been marginalized out of the mainstream by the music industry this entire century in favor of country, pop, R&B and hip hop. Have you noticed how the rock singers on The Voice never get very far with the judges? Check out Mariah Formica on The Voice singing Barracuda by Heart. She should have won but they gave her a dull song so she’d get voted out. It makes me angry because we know people want rock music! American Idol doesn’t promote rock singers anymore either, because they were winning every year. Country sells e well today so they flood both shows with country singers.

@@justintime42000 yes, it's unfortunate that they don't support it. Rock and even Metal seem to be popular on just about every other Voice show around the globe. I thought that it would take a popular legacy type of coach(es) to get the fan base for the votes and Ann & Nancy are certainly legends and check ALL the boxes. But the corporate bias is the highest hurdle to overcome. I wish they had a grasp of how loyal and large the rock/metal family is. They are ignoring a huge portion of their demographic.
