Kelly’s Pendant Tutorial.

Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial.
This pendant was originally made to match the earrings tutorial I made called "Kelly's Earrings Tutorial" you can find that here - • Kelly’s Earrings Tutor...
To make this pendant you will need -
• 0.8mm wire (20g), 3 x 12" (31cm)
• 0.315mm wire (28g), approx. 150cm
• Small Cabochon, mine is 12mm by 8mm
• Small bead, mine is 2mm
I no longer put links to tools on here.
The tools I use are:
• Tronex needle nose pliers
• Tronex short round nose pliers
• Tronex razor flush cutters
• Beadsmith flat nose nylon jaw pliers
• Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
• Occasionally I use heavy duty wire cutters
• Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
• Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)

I really like this one...especially as it uses a cab. 5 seconds of commercials is no problem for me. Another tip that I use a lot: I cut a hunk (8x8) of my husbands new chamois and I use it instead of my finger nails which are weak, to straighten my wires. Thanks for sharing.

I just love this! First one I have done of your designs that come out pretty well like yours..hahaha 😂 Usually something happens and I have to change something up. Only thing with mine is I didn't have as much wire to do a swirl or 2. I used a cute lil larimar cab and parawire copper. How do figure out how much wire you need? My stones are usually bigger, but I don’t want to have a bunch of wasted wire. 🙁

What I do, is hold the stone at the centre point of the wire, (an estimate, don’t cut any wire just yet. We’re holding the stone against the wire while it’s still attached to the reel) then imagine what the wire has to do. So you’ll need enough to wrap the stone, then extra to cover the stone again, then extra for handling or if you change your mind with the finishing part. (Then double that length for the other side) So look at the length I use and then imaging the stone at the centre. Then you can see how I worked out my length with the stone and wire length for this design. Hope that helps 🌹I’ll try and explain it better in my next video 👍

I'm sorry but I have to hit dislike.... your jewelry is beautiful n your teaching is clear but I find 5 commercial breaks in 25 mins of a 30 min video is excessive !!! I understand that the commercials help your income n I dont know if you have control over how many BUT my time is valuable too n if these quantities are going to be the norm I will not be watching many more... respectfully C
