Regarding fried green tomatoes… In the book they are clearly two people but in the movie it’s really up to interpretation. Idgy loved to tell tall tales so it’s quite possible she just made it up. And, there is the fact that she was 80 years old. Great video. 🦋

My mom used to make us baked spaghetti as well for dinner when we were growing up. I never really heard of anyone else’s family eating it that way, so I just wonder if that’s a southern thing because her parents were from Mississippi and Kent, Kentucky and maybe they made it that way back there (we grew up in California). 😊🦋 Kelly, I’ve used that cold foam myself. It’s delicious. I saw where you can make your own, so I tried it and it’s soooo good. Just pour a little half and half in a cup, add a little of your favorite coffee creamer and a touch of vanilla flavoring, use your hand held coffee stirrer to mix it up and viola, you have cold foam. It’s delicious as well. Your hair looks beautiful and so healthy btw. Blessings!!

Fried Green Tomatoes is my favorite movie and my favorite book. I love all of Fannie Flagg's books. A lot of her books are set around the area where I was born and lived most of my life in Alabama. My dad delivered furniture to her house in Fairhope one day, but she wasn't there while he was there. I remember seeing an interview where she addressed the Ninny issue. They wanted to do a few things differently in the movie from the book. Ninny is definitely Idgie's sister-in-law in the book.
