I’ve made the white chicken chili before and just put the frozen chicken breasts right in the crockpot. Have to cook it a bit longer in the crockpot but then just shred the chicken after it is cooked. Thanks for the yummy dinner ideas!

4:10 it's a minor nitpick but just figured I'd point out that adding flour to the butter created a Roux. Adding milk or other liquid turns the roux into a sauce (White sauce in the case of milk which is what you made). I actually use this basic white sauce as the foundation of my mac and cheese recipe

I make white chicken chili all the time and just cook the chicken in the crockpot like I would most recipes :) That would save on dishes as well. Sometimes I sub out my second packet of taco seasoning for a ranch packet and it’s delicious.

Technically I’d just use 4-5 tbsp, which is more like 1.5 packets. We just like heavily seasoned food and the cream cheese, while providing creaminess, does tone everything down a fair bit. And like I said, using the ranch seasoning instead is delicious.

@@Isabella66Gracen us too..and crazy is i felt like it was just us! We don't even spend unnecessary haven't in over a year! Last few months awful changes in prices ..food..gas..and care barely get food limited at places. Plus lots of stores closing early and changing hours due to no staff to work. We work 8 to 12 and even 14 hr days weekly. Luckily remote so saves on gas but our lives have become work..eat..sleep..repeat. Scary.but people have changed too so at times safer to just stay home. we try not to be discouraged or disgruntled when we see others spending and not working when there is plenty of work available. My heart goes out to those who cannot work for reasons..and heart goes out to the hard workers making decisions daily like "milk for family or gas in car" heartbreaking. We gotta stick together pray and try to stay strong. Im glad I was able to vent here sorry kinda ran with it but we felt alone at times. Please keep chin up and hope for better days!🙏🏻💕🙏🏻

Does your pressure cooker not have a slow cook option? You could've just left it in there. You don't have to add the cream cheese at the end. With any recipe, just stick the big block on top of all the other ingredients. After a few hours, it'll be completely melted and you can stir in.... you can also put the chicken in raw... once it cooks, shred right in the crock pot.
