I have over-cheesed my recipes at times and I think it can change the texture to a gummy consistency. Yes, I think there can be too much cheese. I will try your recipe, with less cheese! it looks great!! Thank you for the inspirational dishes.

I cut my spaghetti squash in half, remove the seeds like I would a pumpkin, rub it with olive oil and bake open side down in the oven on a baking sheet - done in about 45 mins 😁

Everything looked yummy. Due to my food intolerances, I follow Paleo so a quick dinner for me is cooking meat in the air fryer and a big salad. I’ll occasionally eat instant mashed potatoes and I’ve found they’re super yummy made with low sodium broth and ghee. No gravy needed! 🥔

We call that shepherd's pie, cottage pie when it is beef mince and shepherd's pie if you use lamb mince (a shepherd takes care of sheep/lambs).

Hi Kelly, I made that pasta salad and it was the bomb. Now, just passing along some info from when I lived in Ireland while working at the American Embassy. I had some friends I had made over there over for a dinner party and made... Shepherd's Pie, well, let's just say they educated me-with love of course - in how this silly American mistook shepherd's pie with making a cottage pie. They said "Shepherd's tend to Sheep and Cattlemen tend to , well, cattle. They said Shepherd's pie is made with ground lamb and never includes cheese and cottage pie has ground beef and never with cheese as well. I was embarrassed of course but they told me not to be, they just wanted to teach me something so that as they said, you could pass it along to other silly Americans who misrepresented they beloved National dish, or one of their top 3. Over the years I have " enlightened" many of my friends and others and it has always been with the heart of a teacher and love. In the end we are all the masters of our own kitchen but what a fun piece of "Did you know" trivia to share😊. As always, you always have yummy food to share and as always, thanks for the inspiration. 🦋😊

First of all, this is NOT meant to sound disrespectful to you and your post, so please don't take it that way ❤.... I make this Shepherd's Pie closed to the way Kelly made hers and make it often. Yes, most of us here in the USA know that a true Shepherd's Pie is made with lamb and we know what a shepherd's job is. It isn't a '''mistake'' when we make it the way we do and it's ok to call it Shepherd's Pie instead of Cottage Pie. This is called a ''working Mom's Shepherd's Pie'', a Lazy Shepherd's Pie'', etc and we love it. It is made this way simply because lamb can be expensive to buy and there are a lot of people that don't care for the taste of it, me included. I don't think we aren't ''silly Americans'', because we do it our way and not like it is done in Ireland, BTW, my great Grandfather was Irish and I don't tell other ''silly Americans'' that what we make isn't how my Granddaddy Adolphus Ward made it in Ireland.☺
