Kelly, that pink sweater is so pretty on you…pink is your color! I find the ELF camo powder foundation runs dark, my skin is pale and I have had to return two because they are so dark! Do stores let you return make up if you have opened and used them already? Just wondering because I buy make up products and they don't work for me and I keep them and waste my money all the time. I don't know my skins undertone so I always end up getting the wrong shades of foundation. If I could return them and get money back that would be great. Lol. The camo powder and cc cream run dark, but the concealers run light! It's crazy. Their lightest, fair rose concealer is just a hair above white. I'm usually the lightest or 2nd lightest shade, like with Maybelline. I'm 105 in foundation, and 100 is their lightest and 10 in their concealers and 5 is their lightest.

Bareminerals has a powder concealer if you're wanting to try one with a powder foundation. I don't use powder foundations because my skin is so dry but if I was going to I would definitely use the concealer first if using a cream concealer.

Bare Minerals foundation (mineral) gives great coverage and is AMAZING. Serious Skin Care also sells a mineral foundation that is amazing too. It gives a subtle nice glow as does the Bare Minerals. Bare Minerals has a more matt option too

What setting powder do you use? (if any). I also suffer from very dry skin. I was looking into setting powders and I would think a pressed powder would be the better option than loose for skin that is dry. I honestly hate any type of powders because they tend to give make up a cakey look and lean more towards looking dry and just all around bad. I just got a new loose powder from hard candy (their new wonder powder) that's supposed to feel hydrating like water on your skin for dry skin people. Hopefully it works. Also looking into getting a pressed powder to see if that's the answer. But what do you use for setting powder? Been trying to see what people are saying who have dry skin like me what to do about this powder/dry skin issue Sorry for the novel lol

I use powder foundation on the daily, and yes, I put my concealer on before I put on the powder foundation. My routine is, serum, sunscreen, concealer, and then powder foundation. Makes my skin look flawless :)

I found the Wet n Wild collection at my local Walmart. I got the blush and the sponge. Both are so so good. The palettes are small and one of the shadows is a pressed glitter, so I passed. The sponge is amazing!

I bought the newer wet n wild palette, the orangey hued one. My eyelid skin went red and swelled, I used a primer as well. So be careful. I also had a worse reaction when I tried the Elf palette, one of the bigger ones. It was pretty awful. Love the elf brushes, brow gel, skin care, powders though!

The finished look is so pretty!! I actually loved the floors on you! Back in the late 80s I had a pink lipstick that I wore everyday. 💗 it was a frosty pink made by Estee Lauder, I bought 4 or 5 tubes before they discontinued it. Never found a dupe for it again. While the gloss isn't a full coverage lip cream it has the same frosty baby pink. It's such a flattering look! Love it!!!

Hey Stacey I don't know if you have tried this one but it's from Revlon and it's called silver city pink. I wore it in the 80's and noticed about a year ago they still make it. It's a beautiful frosty light pink. Sounds very similar to what you are talking about.

Oily girl here. I use powder foundations primarily. Always do concealer before applying foundation. Concealers are usually a thicker consistency so to try to apply on top of powder can be a nightmare. Yes there are exceptions but it isn't worth the risk for me.

I'd rather be oily than dry skinned maybe my make up wouldn't look so cakey like a desert. Lol and the rule of make up is that creams and liquid come before powder so I agree. I never heard of anyone doing it the other way around so I was shocked that she was asking that question.

I’m also a powder foundation girl, and I love the L’Oreal True Match Minerals powder foundation. It can easily build up to full coverage, plus their shade range has options for pale girls like me! I always do my eyes and concealer prior to powder foundation. Add a little elf HD powder, and I feel like my skin appears flawless. 💁🏻‍♀️

I have super sensitive skin and can only use Bare Minerals products. I haven’t found anything else that works as well for me. I use their original powder foundation. I will do my cream concealer first then put the foundation on. I will set my under eye with there powder concealers. I love their powder concealers. They are cover well and don’t crease or cake up on me. Love you videos!

I roll Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer around my face including under my eyes and blend it in. I set it lightly by tapping not rubbing with Lancôme Dual Finish Powder. I always wait until the last minute to apply makeup before work, so the roller concealer & pressed powder makeup it fast and easy to apply even in the car.

I'm sure others have said this, but keep old facial primer bottles that you love and you can fill them with different ones that don't have good misters. That way you can use the actual product without being turned off by the mister!

I have very dry skin and the powder foundation still works great! Concealer first (still trying to find one that covers dark eye bags) but the buffing and finishing powder create a very clean look.

I use the Miloni Powder Foundation as my face powder and spot my dark circles with my Camo concealer and I'm 70 and been told my skin looks flawless and smooth so I have quit wearing liqud foundation some times I'll wear bbcream but for every day just the powder foundation

Use a kabookie brush for the foundation. Buff it in circular motion. Most people don't blend and buff a powder foundation enough. When it feels like your arm is gonna fall off you're almost there

Hi Kelly ilysm ur one of the few makeup KZbinrs I still watch, I just wanted to bring to your attention that when u are spot concealing u should a brush or maybe just use the applicator near the blemish instead of applying it directly on the blemish and contaminating the applicator.
