Man...this is, i think from 1982.. Accept is a german band, they are one from the first realy fast and heavy bands. One of my first heavy bands i hear. A little crazy boy who hear heavy metal 🤘🤘.. iron maiden, saxon, accept, manowar... so long ago :-) best wishes from germany

As a German I love the level of trolling this intro is. The first time I've played that song to my friends I got dirty looks because of how much they hated it. As soon as it switched to the main song I got dirty looks again because they aren't metal heads and that part simply was too much for them. I also love to request this song in metal clubs - always a good indicator if the DJ is actually a metal fan or not - if it stops before the main part of the song sets in they're not a metal fan :>

Accept is one of the titans of the 80's.This band never got the respect it deserved.Udo is an amazing screamer, & Wolf is a tasty riff writer & a writes melodic solos of legato puncuated with furious riffing.One thing is for sure, when you hear Accept you recognize it instantly cuz they are one of those unique bands.Maybe try "Fight it Back" from the album Balls to the Wall.This track has one of the most epic screams in metal right before the guitar solo.It will surely impress.

These guys are HIGHLY underrated. I remember being put on to these guys from an old friend of mine and he gave me their whole first album and made me promise to listen to the whole thing in one sitting when I had the time. He warned me about the lead singers voice. The album is flawless, you guys need to listen to it at some point. Start to finish, a masterpiece. #Accept Guardians of the night

I've seen Accept live a number of times and the only other band on this earth I can think of as tight as Accept was Rush. They had their act together and respect for the audience. Great band, one of the best ever. Nobody could sing like Udo.

#Accept Restless and Wild. You should check the whole Restless and Wild album, released in 1982. With this album Accept are the pioneers of speed metal and thrash metal. And a lot of people doesn't know the difference between these two genres, they are similar genres, but not the same. But at the end it doesn't matter, as long if it's metal then it's great 🤘🤘🤘

@@mbo191 It's Udo, the song is off 1982's Restless & Wild, the only album Udo wasn't on in the 80s was Eat The Heat with David Reece. I saw that tour with Metal Church & WASP, Reece sucked, he got the tour cancelled and was promptly fired never to be heard from again. Udo returned for 3 more albums in the 90s then disbanded for a decade then reformed in 2009 with Mark Tornillo who's been the vocalist up till now.

Thanks for the shout out guys. \m/ ACCEPT is basically the answer to "What if AC/DC and Judas Priest had a loud German baby". This song and Motorhead's OVERKILL are basically the start of thrash metal. The singer Udo Dirkschneider (who looks like a blonde Patton Oswalt in army pants) split off in 86 and formed his own band called U.D.O., and they have some decent songs too. Accept has had a new lead singer for the past 10 years and they've done some great albums in that time.

He had installed a stereo system and allowed us to play our music. I would bring Accept, Judas Priest, Dio , etc, and it was the best class of the day for me.

Accept is one of the earliest bands with that speed and heaviness. Udo is a legendary vocalist! Fun fact...the intro German track is controversial in the aspect that hitler youth used to sing that one. It existed before them, that group just perverted its originality “even though the song dated from 1830, it was a popular marching song during the Nazi era and still held that connotation for many listeners, a fact the band was unaware of at the time. “
