You guys are great for giving songs like these recognition and air-time. Not even Opeth fans themselves, generally, give this album enough credit. #Opeth Häxprocess is another fantastically underrated tune, one of my favourites from their most polarizing work.

This is why I will always love Opeth. I started with Ghost Of Perdition and only had their albums with harsh vocals and loved them all. To realize they can create such soothing beauty as well as aggressive beauty fills all the needs of my soul. Thank you for the great reaction and the sharing of your personal story.

Love your reactions. Even though Opeth are getting recognized, I feel they are still underrated. I was very frustrated when they were mocked in Swedish television because of their death metal background. What most people don't understand that they are fantastic musicians and I think Michael is one the best song writers ever lived.

I agree, Faith in Others is definitely one of the greatest Opeth's songs. It's like a wormhole from 70's prog rock to our time. Gift from ancestors, if you wish. P.S listening to this type of music with good mid-range freqs headphones is another level for sure.

This band is full of soulful artists. Each one a virtuoso in their execution. So much subtle nuance layered upon sheer power & emotion. Mikael is a fantastic vocalist with amazing control. He is one of the few singers that can do the "cookie monster" vocals & still be intelligible. I love the juxtaposition of sounds this band is capable of.They are extremely versatile & can span numerous styles & genres. I like to expose people who have never heard Opeth before by playing a song like this & then following it with something really heavy like Deliverance or Bleak. Then note the look of surprise on their face when I tell them it's the same band. 😊
