In this video I’m listening OPETH FAITH IN OTHERS for the first time, this is reaction with analysis - I tried to explain the meaning as much as I understood it just from one time listening this song. Don’t wanna say a loud words, I just felt physically reaction in my chest for some moments in this songs and honestly, it’s only what’s matter, because the truth is - if art doesn’t give you anything- beauty and meaning of it just not working or maybe even not exist. The band OPETH IS SPECIAL, I’m can’t say that I’m a fun simply because I heard only two songs so far, but every time I was impressed. It’s my type.

Opeth is arguably THEE MOST unique band in the world.These guys can do ANY style or genre of music & go from cookie monster vocals to melodic acoustic guitar with multiple vocal harmonies to blues to classical ALL IN THE SAME SONG!! Opeth IS there OWN genre & one of those rare bands where you can hear 2 different songs & have no clue it's the same band.

One of the most interesting and amazing things about music is how it can touch one person to their core and leave another totally uneffected . I don't think there is a wrong or right there . Music is strange and magical that way .

I had tickets to see them a few years ago but my niece’s wedding landed on that day I love my niece to pieces but DAMN I regret not seeing them then again they were coming to new York before the Fing plague struck. It will happen I am sure Mikeal is AMAZING the entire band is just on another level so unique I was never a death metal fan the growling style of singing that most death metal singers use I never cared for however when Mr Akerfeldt growls you can even understand what he is singing I know a lot of early Opeth fans were put off when the guys started writing more progressive style music with clean vocals but I am a fan of all of there stuff they are simply without equal and I always enjoy listening to them and Axe is an amazing drummer Martin on Bass Fredrik just an incredible guitar player Joakim has got to be one of the best keyboard players of the generation up there with the likes of Rick Wakeman INCREDIBLE BAND!!!!

She is dead on complex is an entirely appropriate description of this band…fortunately Mikael can write that type of music without being over indulgent they are so versatile just super talented easy to casually listen to while driving, one of my favorite ways to listen to them, but they withstand serious listening and they deserve it as well amazing on SO many levels it’s not often a band can weave it’s way into your soul but Opeth have done it with me quite easily..gotta give a shout out to my best friend Joe for turning me on to them a true gift from a true friend!!

I am always here for you harmonizing to songs like this! Your breakdowns are always very in depth and come from a place of knowing what it takes to make music and make sounds vocally. Your ability to sing and know what it takes to make these sounds always makes your commentary more informed than 99.9 percent of others. Are you sure you're not a vocal coach?? :)

This song (singer) has a moving voice. It's obvious deeper type music that the listener is transported to as compared to most structured songs. Your "ooh,ooh,ooh" oohing demonstrates how deeply you connect with it. It's not "High Hopes" by PF but has a melancholy overall feel. You shouldn't worry with the headphones you communicate just fine without them and don't have to be bothered putting them on and taking back off throughout your posts. Take care Yuliya ♥️

Thank you for this. This song is extremely underrated, and is one of my favorite songs post watershed. Lots of Opeth fans disregard their non growl era and say their music is all progressive with no real beauty, but this is a good example of how they are missing out. Awesome reaction, it seemed genuine.

I don't know who recommended this song, but cheers to them. It's one of my favorite of Opeth and in my opinion it really stands out in their catalogue. I actually was in Moscow when that album came out but really got into the song a several months later when I came back home. I can't say I know the true meaning behind the lyrics, but to me it seemed like kind of midlife crisis song at that time and it hit hard lol. And you are right about it being not Pink Floyd, it sounds like King Crimson's Epitaph or Starless a lot more. Check them out.

I dont know this song and group that in part reminds me to some parts of kinda Pink Floyd sound , so its not my taste so much but i take opportunity to repeat again that you dont need headphones, particolar dress codes or defined behaviour, you are spontaneous person with natural beauty and natural nice sense of homour and wherever you talk , explain and analyze is always a mix of fun , interesting learning and reflection! Often you recreate making a reimagining explanation of vibes and contents that songs deliver to your soul and ears ( without esrphones😂) ...and this is your point of Force and natural skill ability 👏

On the headphones or no headphones issue, I side on no headphones, but I am somewhat of an audiophile having spent lots of money on good sound systems over the years, music is what I enjoy. A good sound system will sound better then headphones, anytime, IMO, but on the cost side headphones are without a doubt more cost affective, if you don't have the money or don't want to spend the money on a quality sound system, because that can get pricey real quick, a quality pair of headphones are a good substitute.

Headphones are a love/hate relationship for me. I’m specifically referring to over the ear headphones. Currently I don’t use them anymore because they are heavy and apply pressure which is very uncomfortable after about 20 minutes wearing them. When I’m driving alone in my car I use my car speakers to listen to music. Bose speakers not to bad. When I’m at the gym nothing is worse than the house music they play so I have to take my Powerbeats pro and what I like about them is they don’t fall out because it has a loop that circles behind your ear. When I’m at work and have downtime to listen to music but there is other people close by I will use my Sennheiser in ear buds. Sennheiser is my go to overall if I have to use ear buds. Luckily earbuds don’t hurt and I can wear them hours at a time. I know this isn’t the case for everyone. Some people it hurts their ears and can only wear them a few minutes. I got lucky there I guess. I have only been listening to Opeth for about three years. Overall I enjoy their music very much. I currently have their Deliverance album downloaded into my playlist. That’s one of my go to albums when it’s time to get my cardio/weights time in. Once again excellent band/song/video/reaction & commentary that I have enjoyed! Have a great day Yulia and see you on the next video 🤗🤍✌🏽

Hi Raul, You are detailed today) my husband actually has an issue with his ears now, he was in a metal band few decades ago and in multiple concerts of course, he use to have sensitive and in a way extraordinarily hearing ability, and after Sofee was born and cried during an infant era, he lost some percentage of hearing and has some sound which he hearing all the time, so now he even drives with ear plugs specifically designed for him, and headphones is his everyday thing, so we have so many of them like in the store. We actually have a pretty good sound equipment at home, but I just never showed it and people for some reason keep bothering me with that headphones as a necessary accessory for reaction) I’m not minimalist when it comes to shoes and girly creams ) but I’m for some reason leaving a house without a bag or anything in my hands - have Apple Pay and a keys). So Headphones just for the phone with easily fit in a pocket and now I’m thinking about - why I don’t have air pods. Also, Apple has a new product - airtag - I need it too, did you hear about it?
@Raul-vl7ly

@@IYOU your husband was in a metal band....that’s very cool. I played rhythms guitar while in high school with some friends. Backyard metal band mostly on weekends. Never played in a local small venue or anything like that. My hearing has also slightly lost but that mostly due to my current career. I work around a loud environment. I also use Apple Pay when I’m out and about but still also carry my Dango wallet since I have a million cargo pockets on my person. AirPods were my first pair of wireless earbuds. It was a Father’s Day gift and I wore those out till the battery died. I definitely enjoyed those AirPods. Good sound. Actually what I have been using since last year are Tile sticker which are same size as airtag. I would have used air tags since I do use Apple but the Tile stickers were out first and I have never had issues with them I’m happy with my tile. Once the battery dies then I will maybe consider going to airtag. I did see the Hermes airtag carry case. Ridiculous price. 🤦🏽‍♂️

See if you can get hold of a set of Shure SRH1540 over ear headphones. I've had them for a few years now and still love them. They are very light weight and have really soft and comfortable ear pads. And they sound great as well :) But since what sound you like can differ very much from person to person, do try them out first.

Old comment, but I think Gilmour and/or Waters borrowed it from Suicide is Painless. It's unclear where Mikael got it from, probably from Dogs. It's just root, fifth, minor third, second which sounds good in context of the feeling of the song so it's possible that it's completely unintentional.

I am not anti-headphone.😌 Ya know if my wife hears YOU's voice all the time she may get the wrong idea.😋 If I watch/listen to YOU's reactions when I am out and have just my phone, then I feel cheated for sound and re-watch later.
