Even though there is nothing insane about their playing in this song, it's still captivating and emotional. I'm quite happy that these godlike instrumentalists chose to focus on melodic aspect of theirs rather than what they are capable of playing (which many call 'wanking'). That's pretty astounding that they can write such emotional pieces, because as a songwriter I can confirm that people tend to write in the borders of their instrumental capabilities. Dream Theater taught me that simple songs can be beautiful too. Yet again, I'm really enjoying your reactions, simply because you put effort into your videos. To be honest, reaction videos are not hard to process: you simply turn the camera on, listen to some music and that's all. Most of the reaction channels on the platform only do that. But this channel (and two more, I won't advertise) are genuine about what you think and feel, making you one of my go-to channels. Keep up the good work! Also, you switched seats after Barstool Warrior :D Is there a reason for that?

Seeing you sitting through Octavarium got me thinking.. Considering your comment about not getting the whole album experiance with this whole thing.. Knowing about you being new to screams and all, I'd love to see you take a serious bite off of the Ghost Reveries record by Opeth. Song 3-5 to be exact. Beneath The Mire, Atonement and Harleqiun Forest. This section's sparsy in the screaming department yet perfectly (from my perspective) representing the width of the band.

When you get the chance, if your moved by vocals, inflection. Listen to Devin Townsend Live at Royal Albert Hall. Specifically " Death Of Music. Its absolutely captivating. Completely different then Labrie but equally amazing. Been a fan of both since the early nineties. DT is one of the most humble bands out there though geniuses of their genre.
