Great sense of humour these guys, 1st 2 Albums are killer. Probably won't thank me for this but early on they had an almost symbiotic relationship with Kings X, which worked for me!

Galactic Cowboys are awesome. I saw them open up for Dream Theater back in the 90's. Their first self titled album is their best one. You have to check out Sea of Tranquility, I'm Not Amused, Speak to Me, and Kaptain Krude. I'll request these songs in your website.

Other tracks from the band I would recommend would be 'Speak to Me' from their debut. 'Ranch on Mars', a hidden track on Space in Your Face. '9th of June' from Machine Fish, 'You've Changed' from The Horse that Bud Bought, 'Young Man's Dream' from At the End Of the Day, 'T.I.M. & 'Hey Mr.' from Let It Go Honestly, you can't go wrong with most any song from my perhaps my favorite band of all time

Great band that puts on awesome shows. They are so underrated. I think “Machine Fish” was there best album. Great groove and harmonies. Very though provoking lyrics. Marty Colvin is an awesome bassist. Do more reactions of Galactic Cowboys.

A very underrated band indeed. They are a mixture of metal, punk, alternative, a kind of Beatles vocal harmonies, etc. Space In Your Face is on Mike Portnoy"s list as one of his favourite albums of the 90's. 😉

An embarrassment of riches with Galactic Cowboys.... they're all great cuts..... I do recommend About Mrs. Leslie from Space in your face... I was fortunate to see these guys live a few times, and they are just as good as on record. The best way to experience these guys is to start at the beginning, travel all the way through. You will be richly rewarded..... so many great cuts on Long Way Back to the Moon..... Say Goodbye to Utopia stands out over In the Clouds for me....

Awesome guys! I've been a GC fan since 1990. I saw them open for King's X on Beale Street in Memphis. I had heard their vocals on King's X's album "Faith Hope Love" and their sound live just blew my mind. 4 part harmonies, distorted bass and awesome songs. SPACE IN YOUR FACE!!! 😁

The Cowboys we're part of a trio of bands (with King's X, and Atomic Opera) produced by Sam Taylor in the early 90's out of the Austin area. All combine metal with Beatlesque vocals and a little prog. The most important of these was King's X. They're cited as a primary influence by grunge artists like Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, STP, Pearl Jam, as well as Big Wreck, Alter Bridge, etc. For your personal listening also check out the "2nd generation" of this genre -Moke, Jelly Jam, KXM, Podunk, Platypus, Jughead, Tres Mt., Poundhound, Thornley. The trail of bread crumbs can be a bit hard to follow in this niche genre so hope you find some of these.
