Kelpi Exhaust System Install (Yamaha XSR700 / MT-07 / R7)

Received this same setup today and installed same day. Bronze shorty with standard baffle. Little confusing on muffle mount, I may have to go back later this week to double check it. Looks great, couple of scuffs which I understand considering it came halfway across the world, and will pick up rock chips on the road. Let me say… it sounds AMAZING! Little smoke due to oils, let that burn off and test rode to gas station. Leaving the gas station revved it out some, grin from EAR TO EAR! Can’t wait to take it on a proper ride.

I like the sound with the baffle installed. Sounds great! Debating on this exhaust and the LeoVince one.

So turns out it's possible to remove stock exhaust without having to remove the brake assembly. Thank you.

Thanks for the support Corey! No tune needed unless you're running no baffle and aftermarket intakes!

Great vid guys, I'm New to bikes.. Just bought xsr700 with Akra and think i want to swap it out for one of these. What are your thought's on the need to tune or map fuel with full exhausts. Can it hurt the engine long term or is that a myth?

Hey mate, for the XSR700 our systems can be used without a tune no issues at all. That said, if you’re doing air intake mods and throttle plate derestrictions, your tune requirements change much more significantly, so we recommend not modifying these unless you’re going to tune to suit.

Hey Marcel, that's right. Shorty muffler on our bronze Cerakoted headers with a standard baffle.
