That was wonderful, I've not set foot on those footpaths in over 40 years yet I remembered them as if it was last week. Thank you.

Just rewatching your Kelsall videos after walking there last Saturday. Your soundtracks always put me in mind of Mike Oldfield.

Brilliant. Thanks for doing this. I really enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane too. Your sentiments are spot on. Like you I've not lived there for 30 years but it will always feel like home. I also love your choice of music which goes great with the footage.

I grew up in Kelsall. On Willington Lane the bottom end by the church street junction. I have a lot of happy memories.

I've never lived in Kelsall, though i walk around there every other week or so, I love walking between the village and Utkinton. Lovely video of Kelsall you have here, and you never know: If I work hard enough, I may eventually be able to relocate there myself!

I come from an earlier generation: early 50's to late 60's. There were fewer houses back then. I was at primary school with Mr. Jackson and Mr. Ellison. My mother was the lollypop lady ( before the bridge obviously). As early teens we would meet up at the tennis club: Jane Bebbington, Pam Barnes ( the only girl to ever beat me at tennis), Greta Voorens, Cherrie Smith, Joy Smith, Stanley Grice; are any of them still around? Happy childhood memories.

My home village 😊 Left in 1999. Still visit as my parents still live there. It's changed in places but I still know it like the back of my hand. I remember Mr Pugh at the school (1984-90). He would stand on the steps at the entrance leading to the infant classrooms and spit all over those at the front of the rows as he shouted his message.

@@RunAdventurer @RunAdventurer 😄 I thought he was a good guy when he wasn't rollicking me. It's funny how someone mentioned the music on the video reminding them of Mike Oldfield. Mr Winnington always played it in Junior 4. You might have known my oldest brother, Andy Pye
