Praying for your heart Tallor; I know separation of two people you love can be hard. Opening up your heart to feeling love and honestly allowing yourself to "feel" is a part of healing, and so glad you are being open and allowing yourself to feel all the emotions that come along with it. People are so complex; the way we interact, our relationships, decisions (and everything else) are a sum of past experiences, trauma, hopes, dream, wishes, fears, etc. We may never understand why/how the decisions others make fully. But...we can take something from our experiences, keep ourselves open to goodness and love that wants to find us, give grace (since we are all human), be real and authentic with how we are experiencing things (some things just suck and hurt, and it is okay to allow yourself feel those emotions for a season), and also use our experiences to ultimately empower ourselves and lives as lived experiences.
