+Revoremus Sure its easy to recognize, The chorus "It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and i need you now" Is a documented direct rip from Alan Parsons "Eye in the sky" chorus, not the lyrics but the melody. I"ve always liked this Lady A song, but a couple of years later, I know why.

Lyrics Picture perfect memories Scattered all around the floor Reaching for the phone cause I can't fight it anymore. And I wonder if I ever cross your mind. For me it happens all the time. It's a quarter after one. I'm all alone and I need you now. Said I wouldn't call, but I lost all control And I need you now. And I don't know how I can do without I just need you now. Another shot of whiskey Can't stop looking at the door. Wishing you'd come sweeping in the way you did before. And I wonder if I ever cross your mind. For me it happens all the time. It's a quarter after one. I'm a little drunk and I need you now. Said I wouldn't call, but I lost all control And I need you now. And I don't know how I can do without I just need you now. Yes I'd rather hurt than feel nothing at all. It's a quarter after one. I'm all alone and I need you now. And I said I wouldn't call But I'm a little drunk and I need you now. This group is not even considered authentic country music. This is pretty much pop country music. This is more pop than country. Even Faith Hill and Shania Twain is more country than this, even though many hardcore old school country fans use to considered them as pop back then. Try listening to Loretta Lynn and Charlie Daniels Band. Now that's country!!

It was on the radio on the way to the hospital. I needed him. He fought and stayed. Thank you God and the drs that saved him twice from immediate death. @Louvre DeWitt Bukater Neuilly EnLay they did not have to change their name, they chose to.change it because apparently being "woke" is trendy. As far as statues being torn down and history being rewritten, well how about being told your whole life that black people were savages and slaves during school? History has been rewritten many times. I mean have you heard of Mansa Musa? Look him up, another thing, a lot of these great inventors stole those great ideas from their slaves or someone black working for them. So, are you saying that it is okay to strip black people of their land, names, culture, religious practices and history, but as soon as someone messes with a statue of a traitor to humanity, we all of the sudden are rewriting history and trying to erase it. No, we are trying to spread the truth of these scalled "heroes".
@Louvre DeWitt Bukater Neuilly EnLay OMG, that's exactly what's going on today. It's like the left is using 1984 as a playbook! I just turned 60 and sometimes I feel like we're living in the twilight zone!
@believer84804 жыл бұрын
@Louvre DeWitt Bukater Neuilly EnLay Well said, we are supposed to learn from histories mistakes. We need reminders there was a holocaust in Nazi Germany. Why, so some communist dictator doesn't try it again! Intelligent people know why history is so important to know and remember, yes even the statues.
