The way KM plays down low is an uncommon play style. It really is her signature. She confuses the hell out of the bigs in the paint, as she is down near their knees, weaving in and out, and then she pops up to make a shot. She is really fun to watch.

Plum is about as quick as Mitchell and a better floor leader, ball handler, defensive player, and playmaker for others and in my opinion would be a better fit alongside Clark and AFAIK is an unrestricted free agent who might be interested in leaving her team, same as Mitchell who has been clear she is also open to a change of scenery. Mitchell's positive showcasing in China will bump up her trade value so if the Fever were smart they'd use this opportunity to get their "Kings' ransom" now while her ticket is hot. The Aces have Plum and potentially more i.e. Kate Martin to offer. And Clark would benefit from having another solid playmaker like Plum to ease some of those ball handling duties. It would allow CC to play off ball more and take some pressure off her having to set up literally everyone for points which as we saw wasn't a good thing (led to her making way too many turnovers which needs to be remedied somehow). Bringing Plum aboard essentially allows Clark to play the 2, and focus more on off ball cutting and getting passes which we know from her Iowa days she's very good at as well. She could average 30 a game playing as the "2" in Mitchell's place in my opinion this would be a better role for her and the team as a whole. Plum would get her 15-20 a game and hand out 5 assists per game, Clark would get her 25-28 and if the Fever can add another bonafide big like Satally who can score some points there'd be well enough scoring there to make up for Mitchell's absence.

Trade her to the Aces for some combo of Plum, Martin, Gustafson and try to force the Wings to give up Satally for that useless sack of potatoes + the Fevers' 2025 #1 pick. Both are probably going to burn themselves out in a few years' time chasing a paycheck overseas, better that happens on some other team.
