Medieval is so fun, you can play as different people in the kingdom, and it's a blast. The whale ate my parents trait is hilarious!

Sims 2 had some good stuff (I loved shopping for and making clothes, it made your Sim's wardrobe way more manageable), but I agree, I've spent more time on 3 than any of the others. The creative control of changing color and patterns on almost every single item was amazing, as was the open world!

I put SO MANY hours into this game when I was younger! Highly recommend you continue, the quests are so fun and funny and dramatic! The different professions are also really neat, I always loved being a doctor! There’s a particularly fun quest where you play matchmaker as the doctor!

I almost always give my sims the "whale ate my parents" trait because i think its funny when they just yell at the sea

and the large whale stew or braised whale are both great meals to have :) I usually have at least one hero in every kingdom have this trait so they can feed the whole kingdom, until i get a trade route up to import unicorn meat

And you get whale meat which gives some of the best food buffs! Looking back, it's incredible how much depth and detail they put into this game, compared to what we have now...

You can control the combat, if you click on the other Sim you can choose moves your Sim can perform, as you level up more become available

Bruh Kelsey's written treaty to the foreign kingdoms had me dying 😂 Her theatrics are perfect for the medieval pack (I remember how badly I wanted it back in the day but never got it) and it was so fun to watch. If she ever decides to continue this series a little longer, I'm all for it!

This is one of my favourite Sims games ever - so much content in the base game and the pirates expansion! Traits like “parents swallowed by a whale”, specific roles like priests, spies, healers, and the daily tasks all while trying to progress your game and legacy was SUCH a good challenge. Please make this a series Kelsey! Even an episode in each role would be good!

The sims medieval is amazing. I have all the achievements, and I may try a 100 baby challenge in there in the future. Trying to get all the achievements is a really fun and long challenge, but I'll wait before I try to get 5 nobles drunk again.

I love this game! The music is often featured in historical shows even documentaries-it’s that good! You can play as other characters and build more the longer you play, you can also take it in more peaceful way or become vicious even. Recommend using the cheat to unlock all clothing options for all characters.

OK - So that first window shows you all the other kingdoms you will unlock with different goals in each section. So when the first kingdom is complete, if you have completed all the goals, you can unlock another kingdom. Lots of folks don't realize this when playing. There's levels on this game. What you do in this world will affect the points you have to unlock other regions.

I have no idea why this popped up in my feed, but just seeing the thumbnail was like getting smacked in the face with nostalgia ❤ I never truly got into the regular Sims games, I always felt like you had to buy expansion after expansion just for it to be fun, but THIS GAME. WAS. EVERYTHING. Everything for my nerdy, fantasy-loving self and my brother. We genuinely laughed ourselves to tears at points playing this game. I had SO much fun making kingdoms modeled after my favorite books, populating them with characters from the books in the appropriate vocations, marrying them together, and just having a grand old time. Please do more videos so that I can relive some of those delightful childhood memories! 😊😊

I love the sims medieval, I still play it to this day 😅 Would love for this to be a series! Also for future reference if you decide to play more, it seems like you are running on quite low graphics. Which isn't that weird with it being a older game (it can't detect what graphics card you have if they are newer so it just defaults to low settings), but it being an old game you can definitely run highest settings no problem so might wanna change that manually to make it look slighty better, and fix the resolution so you don't have to play in just a square 😄

I always wanted a little more out of Mideval but I do love it. It especially filled its role of being less intense to run than Sims 3. That said I LOVE the traits and the ideas. Its almost like its a game thats actually fun to play and not a building simulation

I would really really love if you did a series of this! This is also MY favorite Sims game!!! I love that it's got directives and story but also maintains classic Sims comedy and gameplay aspects.
