I don’t use a brush or comb, personally. All the hairdressers I know suggest to run your fingers through your curly hair in the shower (or just when wet) and get tangles out that way!

As a curly girl, what I find really helpful while doing hair is to flip my head forward and scrunch at the root. Really helps with getting volume at the top. Also, even though it may look goofy, putting clips in the hair while letting it air dry is an easy technique for volume. I don't know if you have tried this before and it didn't work for you, but I love that you are embracing the curl, and finding what works!

yeah the head flip for volume is so real! I usually wait until my hair is ~almost~ dry and then flip and shake it out just a little or scrunch at the root like you said and it makes such a difference. never tried the clip method though!

All it's going to do is make you want to read less. When it comes to getting back into reading, I always try to go for something that I know I'm going to enjoy! Kelsey, curly girl hair tip!!! Flip ur head over after it’s completely air dry and frizz ur scalp with ur fingers quickly for 30-45 seconds and it gives you SO much volume and allows ur curls to curl on their own and spiral tighter and more defined rather than relying on other curls which weighs them down! :)

Mix the foundation you want on the back of your hand, then take a bit on your finger and dot it in the main areas you want it, then damped your beauty blender and dab a bit more foundation onto it, then blend it around on your face. This process gives me a much more covered finish while still looking very natural. I used to also feel like it was just absorbing into the sponge.

I use innersense too! VERY important to use more water than product when applying. you should be applying a pea size amount of product to soaking wet hair, raking through with the fingers, and then scrunching up to the root. frequently add more water so the product spreads evenly and gets to the root. then scrunch with a microfiber towel and air dry!!
