Nah you’re not tripping, it’s really not that good. We also had dishes with two different proteins at different spices and they were different in saltiness, but neither were spicy. I had several pad kra pao dishes in Bangkok that were way better and cheaper, but at least I can say I tried it. I also appreciate that you didn’t sugarcoat your review!

Stumbled across you channel somehow, love the content. I do find in America, we tend to oversalt and over use sugar in a lot of our dishes. Thai food is overly sweet here in the US while my Thai friends tell me it's nothing like how it's back in Thailand. I love Mark Wiens content in the past, and would definitely try his restaurant, that being said pad kra pao is their national dish and I'm sure some other dope street vendors can make it more enjoyable at a lower price. Keep up the great work and subbing now.

Nice, i been there. I had high expectations too but for me it's not the best i had for the price point. That being said, it did give a good travel experience to enjoy one of iconic food vloggers restaurants. But for flavor chaser, mark padkrapao is 4/10 compared to other thai locals and restaurants for 30 baht.
