I've been to Vietnam 4 times growing up and I still don't know Vietnamese either. When I'm with my family I'm basically mute and could only be with my mom so she can translate for me 😪, but I love Vietnam so much. All the mosquitos and humidity is worth it. I hope you enjoy every minute of it.

I just went back to Vietnam last month for the very first time. I was in Saigon, Danang, Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh and Sapa. Love the food, the people, the beach, and the sceneries. The coffee is amazing and the pho in Hanoi is incredible. Services were pretty good everywhere except the boat ride in Hoi An. I went for a boat ride Hỏi An river in the evening and I thought of giving the boat rider a big big big tip at the beginning when I stepped on to his boat because I thought of the life he was in, but he only rowed for a very very short distance and I had to asked him several times to go farther like other boats did. He was kinda did but halfway. I felt like I was cheated, so I ended up tipping him only 10k. Other than that, people were super nice everywhere I went. Seeing you jumping up and down and screaming at the beach is so thrilling. Enjoy your trip.
