@fireball75677 the phaser sfx n textures used here were JJ files created by the SFRD team and included in their SFRD Engineering Pack (a mod containing weapon assets for BC). This instance seemed like an alternative phaser beam system, akin to the TMP system with a twist

I was young enough in 2009 to not notice the lens flares. But when they were pointed out, I couldn't help but laugh. 😄 As for the ISS NX class ships, just throw Tholian webs around them. (Snicker)😀 It's too bad that when your ship is destroyed that you can't watch the rest of the AI fight. Oh, and thanks again for informing us about the ST:Online promotions. I got the advanced science vessel and a kick ass section 31 rifle. 😆

Actually love this, real talk though the kelvin timeline NX class should be not different in the slightest. We do know from a canon comic there was a SINGLE refit Nx class ship made when the jj enterprise was commissioned, so that one is likely god tier, but the Yorktown should be the exact same

Could we all please agree on one thing when we talk about "Alpha canon": 1. Prime Timeline: tos,tng,ds9,voy,(ent) + movies 1,2,3,4,5,6,(7),8,9,(10) + (maybe a a bit changed season 3 of Picard but only hardly acceptable) 2. Animated Timeline: tas,ld,prodigy 3. Kelvin Timeline: 1,2,3 4. Kurzman Timeline: dis,snw,pic + (s31 movie if this is even to be considered star trek) Hence "Beta Canon" is also a thing i would like to recommend the novels. They are pretty good by keeping the space time continuity in order, whilst telling good star trek stories. 1. New Frontier (the older ones are the best and my favourite ship is featured - the ambassador class) 2. Destiny (Rikers Titan) 3. Lost era (ambassador class - I love this era) 4. Enterprise (Trip doesn't die) 5. Vendeta 6. many more (tng,tos,voy,ds9) novels Games rec.: - Legacy - Bridge Commander - STO - Elite Force - Star trek Adventures (tabletop) Everybody does have his own head canon. Here is mine: For me old trek does end with Nemesis. Data gets uploaded into Bfore and everything is fine and the happy ship uss enterprise E lives a happy life with a happy exploring crew until we either get the century class enterprise F and the excalibur class enterprise G or the Odyssey class enterprise F and the eclipse class enterprise G and the happy exploring with now slipstream and trans warp continues. Without a Discovery or its entire contradicting era ever existing.

The Terran Empire NX-class starships aren’t supposed to have Cloaking Devices. Dialogue in Star Trek: Enterprise “In A Mirror, Darkly” states this. It states that the ISS Enterprise NX-01 had a stolen Suliban Cloaking Device onboard but it wasn’t standard equipment. If it was, the ISS Avenger that later Archer using the USS Defiant destroyed could have gotten away from the resistance forces.

[3:34] One of the lights on the bridge that's there for the flare action burned out due to a minor power fluctuation. It happens in combat, sometimes. I love the model, especially the gull-wing style nacelle pylons. It gives the Yorktown a bit of a unique touch.

the game does, as does the AI the enemy uses...the base AI concentrates fire on the ship's deflector dish for some reason...and a lot of people tend to put critical systems in its proximity

A Terran-Empire NX-Refit style ship would be very cool to see what it could do against other ships of its era. Otherwise a nicely up-armored Terran Empire NX class ship might be rather impressive in what it could do.

To be honest the Yorktown looks like from another timeline, only because the warp pylons are too straight instead of being slightly curved, which made the Jar Jar universe enterprise look terrible.
