I agreed with Beece. Nigeria should concentrate on fixing Nigeria instead on focusing on what people are saying about Nigeria. For starters, Nigeria can’t even provide basic things like electricity for its citizens.

This is her opportunity to talk to worldwide about what is happening in her country, which is why everyone is running away. If you said British or have they are issues, but why is everyone running over there for a greener pastour, travaillng aside the country had now become a prayer points for pastors and how everyone want to leave.

Is that what you think? That shows how smart you are.... somebody is mocking you and you actually think her ridiculing Nigeria will make your government change? A government who have no shame. Politicians travel to other countries for medical care , a country that produces fuel and imports fuel,what else can you shame Nigerian government with? The more that Kemi says those things about Nigeria the less the whites and other people sees you as a Nigerians. You think they care about you? Or they pity you? @@inceptionarts2947

Her experience is her experience. She has the right to say what she wants to say. Especially since she also lived in Nigeria. She’s not attacking the everyday Nigerians. She’s calling out our lazy corrupt politicians. Don’t know why some Nigerians are taking it too personal. Kemi is not making Nigeria look bad, Nigeria is making Nigeria look bad.

I disagree with Maria'm's point to some extent. As much as I don't like how she talks down on the country, you would notice that her baclaksh is for the government, not for the Nigerian people in general. I mean, isn't it shameful that the things she experienced back in the 90's is still the same thing that's happening today at an even worser level? Police brutality, corruption, nepotism you name it. Shouldn't this be a call for our leaders to sit up and do right by Nigerians? Infact, I like the fact that she's speaking up because when we do, no one listens. Our leaders take Nigerians at home for granted so maybe international shame will help them do better.
@Barakah-118 сағат бұрын
Also, we know that those countries have problems, inflations etc, but you don't see their leaders gallivanting around and flaunting their wealth in the face of oppressed Nigerians. Their people have easy access to their leaders, for heavens sake, they even cycle and take the public transport system. It's not like here where our own leaders are demigods. Ordinary tweet at them and you'll be picked up for questioning. Their own leaders don't send their children to school abroad while schools back home go on strike every year. And please you can't keep asking us to rewind back to 100 years to see how their democracy looked like in the past. You can't keep making excuses for the kleptomaniacs in government all in the name of we'll get there. I try so hard to have hope in this country but the leaders are hell bent on running us down. And here you are making excuses for them.

Is kemi Badenoch a Nigerian? If yes,then she is right to speak from any part of the world that she resides about our failed systems. We need to do better and stop seeing what she says has been political. We are suffering and smiling talking about how colonialism deprived us after so many years. This blame game i hope it's not too late for us to realise it i don't know why we can't see that no Nigerian no matter how many citizenship we have is not happy with the situation of things in our country. How old is Nigeria? What is our population? What is the rate of unemployment among the youths?what is the structure of our health systems? Our Educational system and so many more. Every meaning Nigerian wants a Better country that we can all be proud of. I personally disagree that we can't call out or speak about the ills of our country on international platforms if it does present itself because for now we are not a developing nation. The same way we call them out here in Nigeria,so also can Nigerians in the diaspora.

This one that this lady is attacking Nigeria so destructively for whatever reason. Does she want to tell us that some of UK's policies are not encouraging destruction of lives? Why can't she just face her conservative party problems and by extension the labour party to look for ways to solve myriad problems facing the UK presently. With all the resources UK stole from their former colonies, where are they today? What is the population of the whole of UK, that people also struggle to get hospital appointments? Nonsense!

I pity guys like you who sees only the bad of the land, but choose to ignore the good the land brings. Nigeria gave you life. You where born alive and not flushed down the toilet. You feed regularly, yet you re ungrateful. You have opportunity to internet in your small corner, yet you cause the Nation that gives you live. If all you see is negativity like your adored P.O (Obidien for short). How do you do see the great opportunities and possibilities abound beckoning to be taken to save our nation. Please remember action and reaction are equal and opposite. When the roll is called for those that came to heal the land, would you and your kind stand up to be counted.????

You ladies are just being unnecessarily emotional. Kemi should not be blamed for what she said. Which of you would go to work in a another company and your potential employer wondered if they would really entrust you with management position because your former company has gone bankrupt, would not find a reason to exonerate yourself? This hypothetical question is very apt to what Kemi has done. Nigeria has failed in virtually every aspect of our national life. People hardly identify with failure. The truth is that the system we practise in Nigeria is self defeating. Until we do away with this culture of mediocrity, we will always be confronted by our own self imposed opprobrium.

If you have common sense you will know that she knows what she's doing and definitely not for the good of Nigerians..Any body will say any stuff about your country you will be clapping for them simply because you hate your country... Let me ask you? For instance, if your mother is a prostitute and she sleeps around with different men even in marriage, will you constantly come out in public to tell the whole world what she does? If you do, what do you want the public to do, change her? Or how do you want people to see you? How will you feel when they now start calling you son or daughter of a prostitute? The problem I have with this woman called kemi badenouch is that she talks about Nigeria too much dis days in a negative manner. Is she using it as deliberate political tools to put her self at the front burner for the election of office of prime minister of U.K??? Fine our leaders are terribly ans pathetically bad and even we ordinary citizens are very bad from the streets market gass station we are not good to ourselves as citizens. Imagine those supporting her for her actions don't be surprised are fuel sellers are cheating customers under dispensing fuel below the action price of fuel. I think we need to ignore her completely henceforth. Time will come when she needs Nigeria and it will be too late

Even we that grew up in the 70s without as much affluence as her parents cannot describe Nigeria the way she keeps saying its a poor country. Is she the only one whats exactly is her problem
