@@RobHenx you are welcome!! I have a question though... I know you can use two effects before and two effects after the amp/cab sim. Can they be any? I mean, can you use modulation after the amp/cab or just delay and reverb?

@@danielferrera8773 great question!!! So, I use normally a reverb and a delay after the amp (like a fx loop), but yes, you can add a chorus, phaser, flanger or whatever is the best for the song ;) In the pre amp section I use normally tube screamer, expression pedals, pitch shifter and compressor. I would like to ask you about Foot Switch assignments: I saw that the video about minute 13:04, and the only thing I don't understand is this: how Rig Manager knows in what bank are you, to select after that the different slots, among the 5 possible per bank?? Thanks for the comment and the support! Please check that in the main screen/window, there's some numbers on the left like 2-1; 2-2; 2-3; 2-4 and 2-5. It means 2 bank, slot 1 to 5. I hope it's clear, if not, let me know and I'll try a different explanation. All the best

@@RobHenx Hi Rob, hope you are fine. I returned to rewatch you video after the premier of the Nano Cortex, since I'm interested in purchasing either the Kemper Profiler Player or de Nano Cortex. So far, after Kemper announced the Level II and III upgrades options, for me it seems that KPP is several steps over the Nano (and I don't know if Nano can overcome that in the future..). I guess I will pick a KPP soon. Besides, I would like to ask you what indicators the KPP has in order to tell you what preset/slot are you using with every footswitch? Do you need to remember what preset is linked to footswitch 1, 2 o 3 with some help from the colored led buttons you have in the bank section of the unit (from 1 to 5, in 10 different colors? @@estebanpontoriero4299 you got it! There's a small led indicator showing the color being used. So basically at the left you'll have a color for the bank being used and and the bank being used will be highlated in one of the 5 presets. But everything is with led indicators. (unless you have an iPad or something like this connected, which could be a nice solution). Have a good one my friend and happy to help.

hi. i work on live gigs with modelers and real tube amps so here's a tip : if you use a modeler don't worry too much about a live scenario the crowd won't hear you most of the time anyway. the inherent digital compression evaporates the guitar tone through the mix.

Hey! Thanks for your comment! My "live scenario" is mostly for me. I know that on the PAs, my rig with IR will be the used one... But I love having the monitor with what is being sent to the house + my cab in my back pushing real speakers. Cheers

Hi man:) first of all super cool video! i want to ask you something: I‘m thinking about buying a kemper player because i need it for my Hardcore/beatdown band and my questions are: 1. do i have enough slots for effects for a heavy chuggy sound? 2. can i run it as stand alone on gigs without a amp directly to FOH? thank you and nice greetings from the Italian Alps:)

Ciao! Thanks for the comment! 1 yes! That's what I do with my metal bands. You have two slots before the amp and two after so, I use a tube screamer and a noise gate before the amp + a reverb and a delay after. Most of the distortions, only with the noise gate of the input is enough the cut the noise, so it opens a space to use an expression pedal for example. 2 yes you can use as a stand alone definately, just make sure the house has monitors and/or use in ears for that! Cool man! To use simply as a Power amp, plug in the Return (and to gain extra 6db, leave something plug on the Send... It doesn't net to be connected in nothing this extra cable). I hope this will help! Cheers

When I play something with high gain i have to reduce the rig volume a lot or i go deaf through the headphones. 😮The main volume is quite low. Am i missing something?

@@Darkurge666 Sup man! Thanks for the comment! Check in the output settings and you should find how to control the headphones separately from the master. Also make sure the option headphones link is deactivated. I hope this will help, if not, please let me know🤘 Cheers
