The hawks only got beaten by port by a single point earlier in the year and the hawks had not hit their straps at that point. The hawks aren't just winning games they are putting teams to the sword. A massive performance is needed by port to beat the in form Hawks. The positive is they are at home.

So you haven’t confirmed anything but you believe… so between Thursday and Monday have you spoken to any sources on this? Or was this something you knew about a prelim or bust before the game? While Ken is preparing for a do or die semi final, are we to believe that the Eagles have contacted him or that he has disclosed to someone that he is weighing up an imminent proposal from West Coast? All seems very plausible.

I don't know where you are getting that information from but that is the last Guy West Coast will get as a coach and that's not a criticism of Ken Hinckley. It's just they've got a future plan around a lot of young players and there is no way that Ken Henley is going to coach West Coast.

He can't win a premiership so I don't think he's the man and I also think with the very youngest we are better off probably either resigning. Schofield for another two years and let him develop the young kids and then get an experience coach in a couple of years time, given that we will probably struggle for at least another two years there is no point in hiring an experience coach

Reporters need to be held to account and reminded as they do for everyone else. They all want a scoop but fabricated narratives are just that. Nevertheless there are a number of teams which have very good lists and very good coaches. In the day and age, it’s the mental aspect that plays a significant factor. Coaches are not out there in the moments that count. It’s the players. That’s why teams will be competitive but fail at the last hurdle because they are mentally fragile when their time comes.
