How close he and Joel are is about as adorable as life gets. Fun fact: Jim Rash (the Dean) lived with Joel and his family for almost a year while he sold his house and bought a new one. It was only suposse to be a couple months but he just stayed for awhile cause it was so comfortable. God i love that cast!

I'm always surprised when someone implies such a comment can't be true. Hundreds of people work on movies. If the actor has done even 5 films- well over a thousand people. So, some of these comments are likely true. There's all sorts of staff on a film - gophers and make up people and film crew and script supervisors and prop department and extras...and they might interact with the star at some point.
