I was born in England and became an Australian citizen before the Vietnam War. My whole working life has paid tax into the ATO and no other country. My children, grand children and now great grand child were born in Australia. I identify as Australian, not English Australian - just Australian. The race debate in Australia is destructive and will white ant Australian social structure. The aboriginal activists who pursue sovereignty and separatism are like a parasite living off a host. When the ABC and prominent politicians join in and promote a fraud, it is down to individuals to call it out. How quick would ABC call out a fraud if it did not suit their political agenda, ABC independent? I think not.

The Labour socialist Government of Australia, I believe deliberately creates this current culture where it becomes totally acceptable to become a victim. Labour then rides in on it's big white steed and it's bottomless cheque book and 'saves' us all, particularly disavantaged minorities who the rest of us all lack empathy for. It's narcissism disguised as altruism. And it's about power, it's about control. And they do not like to be called to account.

Buddy Rojek It’s funny you say that. I was watching an old doco from the 60’s recently. The documentary showed white journalists going and spending a few days with primitive aboriginal tribes in the NT. The comment section was full of a bunch of Sri Lankan’s saying stuff similar to “wow they look just like us Tamils”. There was so many Sri Lankan’s in the comments that I can only assume that something about aboriginal/Tamil identity similarities must had been trending in Sri Lanka at the time to bring them all to that particular video to compare aboriginals to themselves.

Bitter Harvest is a comprehensive appraisal of Bruce Pascoe’s book Dark Emu. Pascoe postulates that, rather than being a nomadic hunter-gatherer society, Australian Aborigines were actually sedentary agriculturalists with ‘skills superior to those of the white colonisers who took their land and despoiled it’. Dark Emu has enjoyed extraordinary public and critical acclaim, winning Premier’s literary awards in New South Wales and named Book of the Year. Professor Marcia Langton called it ‘the most important book on Australia’. Its ideas have already been taken up in school texts and the ABC is producing a documentary series about it. But nothing in Dark Emu justifies its success. Bitter Harvest is a forensic but highly readable examination which reveals that Bruce Pascoe omits, distorts or mischaracterises important information to such an extent that, as purported history, Dark Emu is worthless. Even worse, it promotes a divisive, victim-based agenda that pits one Australian against another

40 years ago I worked with a bloke who had immigrated to Australia from Malta, the place of his ethnicity, he registered as Aboriginal. In the US in one state at least as there may be many, The native Indians are paid an allowance like a dole payment. If they are half (1/2) Indian they get half the dole, if a quarter they get a quarter payment. Less than a quarter Indian they get nothing. I'm not suggesting that we follow suit, but the need may arise to have DNA testing and if positive the government could pay for the test, if not positive they pay.

Aboriginal art does not have any record of such claims. The thing that is interesting is that the further away in time you get from something the more outlandish the claims that can be made. Take holocaust deniers for example. If it was real it would have all come out back in the 70s, not to mention everything that flowed out of the Edde Mabo case. I thought cultural appropriation was a big taboo. Quickest way to clear up the whole issue of his ancestry would be a DNA test.

This is truly unbelievable! Is there no uproar from University Professors or elementary and high school teachers? It is frightening that it is not being put right. As a British man recently said, “Great cultures don’t suddenly die overnight, they slowly inch toward death by allowing their principles (honesty) and their histories and their freedoms to be subverted.” Mr. Bolt, you have done their work for them, and still they allow him to keep his prize, educators stay silent, and leaders look the other way. But they all know the truth now, so they are all looking each other in the eyes and PRETENDING together that it isn’t so. What does that do to a person’s soul?

Incredible indeed. Sadly, we lost the plot though long ago when we accepted people less indigenous than I am Scottish (which is not much) to call themselves indigenous, instead of simply of indigenous descent. Not to diminish how badly indigenous peoples have been treated in the past mind you, but the ability to call oneself indigenous with very little ancestry, let alone evidence, has become ridiculous and, in fact, trivialises it. It would be hypocritical of me to call myself a Scot with the little ancestry I have, yet someone with as much or less indigenous ancestry can call themselves indigenous? Poppycock.....

Look not only did Mr Pascoe get a $10,000 prize for a book that was not fact checked, he got $30, 000 for being an indigenous writer . There are a number of issues here, one, Mr Pascoe committed fraud on the NSW government for claiming to be something he isn't. This goes a little further than what Mr Wyatt says as there is money involved ie taxpayers money. Elizabeth Warren claimed she was a part of the Cherokee Nation. She was given tenure at a University based on that claim. DNA testing showed there was no native ancestry. Perhaps Mr Pascoe could offer to do a DNA test. Two, there may have been other indigenous writers on the short list who may, through known ancestry, been better recipients than Mr Pascoe. Now I do not care whether Mr Pascoe believes what he is saying or claiming is true. Mr Wyatt takes it for granted because Mr Pascoe has told him that is the case. I am sorry Mr Wyatt but in the real world that is not how things happen and boy it is about time things happened.

So they remained Paleolithic for 65, 000 years. What they did was fail to prosper sufficiently, so .they never graduated to metallurgy they remained paleolithic Stone Age. Essentially a failure.
