Sitting here, drinking some coffee, thinking “the framing looks fun and rewarding” and enjoying watch this garage come together…all the while dreading go to work on my kitchen remodel. It’s more fun watching other people work I guess! 😂😂 But great video as always!

I think that price is fully justified because it probably included the extra concrete walls and second floor which would have more than doubled the cost of traditional garage build. Full span "I" joist and traditional roof rafter framing with steeper pitch in order to create that open loft, all during the extreme lumber and material price gouging of the pandemic.

Just wanted to comment on your wrist trouble. I started carpentering in my late teens and used a Estwing steel handle hammer until my late 30's and then I had to switch over to a wood handle hammer. Best thing I ever did , got away from elbow , wrist and hand pain. When I started we did not have air nailers at the time. Drove a lot of nails by hand.
@kenskarpentry2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. My wrist problem is actually in my non hammering hand
