18:00 doing good. It's same as local. It's easier then us bargain cause they don't give discounts like 1500 to directly 750. It's shows nature of nepali citizen towards tourist they know that we have to stay calm and peacefully.

Yeah, it's always wonderful of you to get a t-shirt from every country you have visited. That Nepal tshirt looks nice. I truly admire your skill of bargaining, Ken. You always need to bargain in areas like this. Even the Nationals will bargain and their start price will be a lot lower than a tourist. Bargaining is part of most asian cultures and is expected. As long as the seller makes a bit of money and you get the deal your happy with it's a good deal.

You're in Nepal at a time of inflation so the cost of everything is generally more expensive. As you said, bargaining a bit is a good idea since most vendors will inflate the prices since you're a foreigner. You got the merch ranging from Rs. 700 - 900 and that's fair for both parties on any given day given their quality lol. (PS huge Germany fan, we'll get the World Cup next time lesgooo)

They dont even spare the Nepalese locals in this market. You need high bargaining skills in this specific market. They usually charge double triple to the Nepalese. Tourist means 5-10 times. Wrong market. Take a friendly local with u for good price.

Again ! Please be caution with too friendly people who in will ask you money at the end. That is the biggest scam in Nepal. These shopkeepers hardly make any money. They might ask you a Tourist price, 5 bucks more but bargaining is something that is very common around. They also like it if you do bargain.
