@@peartree3439 Okay, so remember that bottomless pit from Part 4? The one where you could jump down, die, and respawn to escape the prison? That is the "void", and the "surface" is self-explanatory. K-9 thought that Part 5 went from the Void to the Surface in a distance of ~5 blocks, when it's normally over a hundred at least. I think they got 4 and 5 mixed up, though. Part 5 doesn't show the void, at all, so there's no reason to question the lack of height needed to exit it. And Part 4 has a giant TNT cannon elevator, provided by a conveniently-placed super-tall ladder, so no weird space-bending there.

@ALoser-ThisIsTotallyUnique Жыл бұрын
@@DarkSoSpooky thats a pretty stupid comparison, the point of escape rooms is to be a puzzle. You are testing your deduction skills and knowledge to find and use the hints necessary to escape. @brandonbombplays93044 ай бұрын
The amount of snowballs from a snow layer is determinate, not random. Ken would've noticed
@BetaDude404 ай бұрын
@@brandonbombplays9304 No, but the amount of snowballs dropped from killing a snow golem is RNG. They can drop anywhere from 0-15 according to the wiki. The amount of snow is deterministic, and you get 1 snowball per layer. You can clearly see he only picks up 4 snow layers, so that accounts for the latter 4, but he ends up with 20 somehow. So where did the extra 1 snowball come from? Even under the best possible odds, he'd still be short 1 snowball. At 2:35, you can see he has 12 snowballs from the snow golem, which is expected, yet somehow picks up 2 snowballs per snow layer. Checking the wiki again here, it says that in Java 1.8 there was an update to allow snow layers in Java to drop 2 for the first layer of snow back in 1.8 in 2014. However, when I tested in Java 1.17, which would have been the most current release as of the time of this video in late 2021, snow layers only drop 1 snowball. This means Omz is playing a different version of Minecraft, and doing some testing, it looks like there was an undocumented change which reverted snow layers back to only dropping one snowball in v1.13, which was released July 2018. This means that for some reason, Omz is playing a 3-7 year old version of Minecraft at the time of the video's upload in November 2021, somewhere between 1.8 and 1.12. But here's the kicker, at 4:24 Omz trades with a villager that has a custom trade. As it turns out, pre-1.8 snapshot 14w02a introduced a new leveling system for villagers, and the villager's job title is put into the top of the UI (e.g. Cleric, Armourer, etc). Notice how in his UI, none of this is here, and he is trading with a generic villager with the job title of "villager" despite generic villagers being removed entirely from the game (according to the wiki, attempting to spawn and trade with a generic villager in this version would cause a game crash, and they would be entirely removed in 14w20a). Now, obviously Koryin/Omz knows how to do some minor NBT scripting to create this custom trade, so I don't know much about this factor, but one would expect the trader to match up with the version-correct trade UI. Either way, the lack of an experience bar in the trading and presence of a generic villager suggests a version older than Java 1.8 (and he is not playing on Bedrock, as Bedrock has always had the rule of 1 snowball for the first 1-3 layers of snow). We can also see the hit bar of the sword at 2:58, so this has to be post-1.9 (and there's not much reason to downgrade your game this far unless you're going back before the combat update) which also conflicts with this being pre-1.8 All of these combined leads me to believe that he was so bad at just farming snowballs that he may have modified his game so that snow drops 2 snowballs per drop. That or I'm missing something which is entirely possible (I'm not skilled at custom villager trades so correct me if I'm wrong on anything). Still it's a little bit suspicious that he's playing on a much older version of minecraft for a puzzle which really doesn't require it, _except_ for this whole snowball and trading mechanic.
