Did you expect it to be chaos? You have a 6 figure car, one of the best drivers in the world, camera ops that are probably being paid 800+ per day each, plus rental costs for each camera being probably 1400 plus per day, you’re paying the entire mechanic team, importing cars overseas, and paying to lock of an insane popular tourist location (meaning you have to outbid what the tourists will pay), a full team of ADs, a drone op that’s probably 2k per day, and they for sure had to work with the local gov. You cant afford chaos. You have to use professionals. It has to be done the right way.

I'm just now finding these Gymkhana Files vides. These are gold! I don't know how many of these you guys have made but I'm gonna watch all I can find and I hope you guys release them for each Gymkhana especially now that Ken is gone. Even if you guys did new ones we would greatly miss Ken's commentary but I'm sure all of us Block fan's would greatly appreciate all the behind the scenes footage of him as well as his family. Now that he's gone, I'd love to see all that footage of him that no one has ever seen get used for something like this. These are some of my favorite videos ever and I can't stop watching. Seriously if you guys decided to make these videos into a DVD/Blue Ray to sell I would buy them hands down!

Eh, don't feel that way though. These videos are made by professionals and edited to give the perfect illusion of a seamlessly perfect run, no stop. The only reason you thought it was all in one take is because the fellas at Hoonigan are incredibly talented video editors, not to mention the perfection that is Ken Block's driving. This marriage between the editing and driving creates the sexy content that we love. In reality, it's probably just as much of a challenge for Ken to make a perfect run as it is for him to wait impatiently for the crew to get the shot right, no talent lost.
