Not every episode makes me reflect so much on my own relationship as this one did. I'm engaged and this gave me nothing but hope for our future. We have been best friends for years, we have each grown enormously as people, he makes me laugh and he is a genuinely good person. Y'all are role models

Im so happy and stable and i just find comfort in the routine. I never thought it qould be that way for me but it is. Im loving this convo so much

Well congrats Jordan! I just watched the season premiere of Gastronauts and I do, in fact, love it. I was cackling behind my laptop, it's fast paced, the chefs know what they're doing and come up with great dishes, and it's just a really solid concept that adds something new to the crowded landscape of cooking tv!

Okay as someone who watches this pod every week religiously, I have definitely seen those nasty comments about your relationship and every time I am absolutely disgusted. I feel like these people have never been in a long term relationship??? Or like had banter with a partner, ever??? Like you can get annoyed and tease your partner about the little things without you being an asshole partner. If you both are having fun and it’s lighthearted, no one is hurt, I seriously don’t see a problem. People just wanna insert themselves and project onto someone else’s relationship. Anyways the average viewer is not thinking these things, and I can attest to that. You both are amazing and so hilarious and the dynamic is PERFECT, never take those comments to heart 💖 we love seeing your love!!!!

This is so funny to me because in both couple's cases, I watched one first (Kendahl's mom vids and Elaine's VMK) and then when their partners joined/took over other things I watched (GMM and CH), I was like "Oh! So and So's partner!". Nearly identical reaction both times.

Sorry for the only tangentially related comment, but Sam my partner and I have been dying for a "I've been queer the whole time" shirt for ages, and you just casually said it???? She's going to spend hundreds of dollars on a Cricut just to make this shirt, Sam. But you could just make the merch. Sam. Give us the merch, Sam. My wallet is empty, my kingdom is dying. Sam, please.

Ah yes, the ineffable homoerotic friendship. For those not in the know, a homoerotic friendship is a friendship between two queer people (whether they know they are queer or have yet to realize) where they are very attached and almost obsessed with one another. A very intense friendship that, when you look back on it, you say “Oooooh, we were both gay and putting this obsessive and possessive energy onto one another.” …I speak from experience. ☠️
