The whole question of 'how often do couples fight' is sooo interesting to me bc tbh if I was in a relationship where we were having small fights all the time I would find that so draining and exhausting and it would really keep me on edge. A lot of that has to do with my own issues around fear of conflict which I'm actively working on - but even so bc I have such a deep-seated fear I feel like I only have the energy to deal with so much conflict in a given week or month before it drains me completely. Also - I feel like my personality is pretty easygoing so I can't imagine being bothered enough to fight about something (even a little) more frequently than like. Once a month, maybe? So I find people in happy relationships who fight frequently so interesting bc that's simply not my wavelength at all lmao

I left my favorite T-shirt at a friend’s house on purpose. We were drinking and someone spilled a beer on me and I didn’t want to wear it home smelling like beer so she offered to wash it for me and then give it back the next time I saw her. i actually have just disappeared from a job. it was my first job, i was freshly 17, and i was a foodrunner in a low-end restaurant. the management was terrible, the waitresses were mean girls, and the owner was a fake asshole. when it got close to New Years, i finished a shift, drove 30 minutes to my girlfriend's house, and sent the owner a text that i would not be coming back. he asked if i could at least work New Years, and i didn't even respond. it was so terrible that i only worked there for 2 months, and everyone around me said they felt like it had been sooo much longer because of how often i was working. restaurant jobs are not for the weak (me), especially when you're 17 and have school to focus on too. i'm in college now and i don't regret it at ALL.

Seconding the Dickies recommendation, my best friend (very gay) got one from the men's section and the medium was too tight on their shoulders, so they gave it to me. Best jacket, so comfy and holds up to all but the coldest days of new england winter. For something a little pricier timberland makes some good ones and if you're looking for water proof as well as warm go for a snowboard brand like Burton or Ride.

I will admit I didn't super care for Jordan's personality when I first saw them on Mythical (nothing against them personally, some people just don't jive for me), but I feel like I've been coming around lately. Had a bit of reservations about this ep but ended up loving it! Both of them had great advice

I'll be honest, a lot of people from mythical mainly don't like Jordan's personality because of how they interact with link specifically, not so much them overall. I dig them a lot but when Rhett is in the mix Jordan can end up dogpiling on Link just a bit, while also working around being an employee... I think it's one of those things where People with strong personalities can come off a bit differently based on who they're around and having to react to-- especially If one or multiple people in the equation also have strong personalities. To be clear, this is not me trying to read into something or judge them, I'm quite similar to them in tone and delivery. Part of why I like Jordan is because I relate to them a lot, but since I'm not the hottest on Rhett and I like link a lot, I do pick up on what people are talking about with Jordan rubbing some people the wrong way. Overall I think it is most fair to consider that a lot of people are going to come off differently when immersed into a very well established dynamic like Rhett and Link's. I think it's also worth considering that being on perfect person here was probably a much more comfortable situation for Jordan given being there with their partner.
