How can you overcome anxiety? How can you help others to do this same? In episode three of Open-Minded, Kendall Jenner sits down with Dr. Curley Bonds, Psychiatrist and Chief Medical Officer at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, to discuss how to be a better ally to friends, family, and loved ones who live with anxiety. In their conversation, Kendall opens up about her experience with panic attacks. Dr. Bonds provides Kendall with advice on how to channel her experience to help others, offers tips for breathing exercises and discusses if and when it’s appropriate to take medication to help treat anxiety.

They definitely are but Kendall had access to the best medical treatment in the world, if she isn’t on medication and routine therapy then her horrible anxiety is on her. She’s also mentioned that public opinion make her anxious so why not stop being so insensitive to others cultures? Watching this series has honestly been the first time since coming out of lockdown that I’ve even remembered I have anxiety. It might sound stupid but when so many people are talking about how strange they feel going back to ‘normal’, I just assumed they felt the same way I did, but then felt weak when I was the only person who can’t ‘just get on with it’. Reminding myself that I have a mental illness has really helped me understand why I’m feeling more overwhelmed than the people around me, stan Vogue

This Vogue series has been really cool to follow. Kendall's honesty in talking about her own anxiety-related issues universalizes the notion that mental health is a challenge for everyone (regardless of who you are) which combined with the contributions of the professionals, always taking it to a broader level to address various levels / types of anxiety is very good for people to recognize themselves and seek the help they need.

that so true ,something i always wonder that if I surpass the level of being in control and getting back normal if i had an panic attack ,who would calm 'cause he or she is mean to comfort me,and certainly he or she must not be a cause this anxiety

Really I don't know what to say and how. What I know after going throughout this all is, it opened me. It did let me feel something different that I couldn't felt about myself yet because I had not been going through that different sight before but after this all, I know how to open myself to everyone especially who loving people. I just.... Just... Just want to say it bought a change in me. It light up my inner powers to fight with anxiety and showed up a path kind of living life with enjoying moments.
