When you were talking about the space in the hospital room, it had me thinking about how what you were explaining as lack of space in a NYC hospital, is the norm here in Canada. The type of room you had there is actually a more "privileged" room here and a lot of times you are put in a room with 3 other patients!

That is so awesome that the NYPD did this for Kendall..she deserves a smile and laughter.. Kendall..even though my daughter hasn't gone through what you have..around your age she had a big battle scare as she calls it for her first kidney transplant..back in the 90s they went from the belly button to the chest.. It took her a while to heal.. She has several battle scars..she also lost her leg.. I think family support and faith keeps us going.. I keep you and your family in my prayers every night Kendall.. You're amazing.. ❤❤

This made me cry! Kendal you are a very strong girl! What a cool opportunity you got with the NYPD! Wow!! You rocked girl! I understand about the MUSC rooms. They are a little slice of heaven! So nice and roomy! Cincinnati is just about as big as MUSC but MUSC is just little bit more accommodating for moms and dads. My son had a 16hours at Cincinnati when he was younger. He has his battle scars for sure. He did not have cancer but he has another disease. He probably has many more procedures to go. My heart goes out to you and your family. Much love to you all!

This dad should be the father of any sick child because he has such a strong, positive, confident attitude that there is no choice other than to get better recover, and have a great life. He’s an amazing person and I have enjoyed watching these shows just to listen to him and think about how influential fathers can be running interference with the whole medical team and how he just takes care of his whole family and I think he’s an amazing person. I wonder if he could apply that same skill to other situations once Kendall is all better recovered, and on her life and I think this father should have his own Vlog and just counsel nervous people all over the world who are worried and then they could listen to him and feel better

So awesome Kendall!!!! I wanted to tell you that your scars are beautiful! I’ve had five back surgeries, and the incision on my lower back looks like an extended butt crack lol! There’s another incision on my lower stomach too, but you can’t really see it anymore. It’s part of your story, even though it’s not an easy one, but that just makes it more beautiful in my opinion. It shows you’re a fighter, and that you’re so strong…much stronger than I’d ever be. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers 🫶🏻💕
