The Great Aussie Road Trip! | Cairns to Cape Tribulation | Ep. 10

This week we take the beautiful Coastal Highway from Cairns to Cape Tribulation in Tropical North Queensland. After an amazing drive north we explored the only place in the world where two World Heritage Listed sites meet - the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Then we head back down to Cairns and venture out to Fitzroy Island for a day. This stretch of coastline is a great road trip to do if you're looking for some tropical vibes, adventure and seeing nature at its absolute finest!

Another fabulous episode. Thank you. What a great coastline! Loved the happy dance on the seawall, the aerial shot of all the palm trees, your Queen rendition, and the Fitzroy Island turtles, just to name a few of our favourite bits. Enjoy the Atherton Tablelands. As well as the fab waterfalls, don’t miss the cute town of Yunguburra. Herberton is quite a quaint little town too, with a camera / spy museum, and an old town setup that is like stepping back in time. Mareeba has a little museum, and also Coffee Works, which has quite an interesting coffee machine museum, and also different coffees to try. The weather is quite a bit cooler once you get away from the coast, so be prepared. Keep having fun, and we look forward to seeing your next maventure. 😘😘

Benjamin Gascouin hey Benjamin! Good question. We have a 140ah secondary battery that we use to charge all of our devices. If we had more space in our van we would have two of these, but we make it work! Hope that helps :)
