He has a pool filter which acts as an aerator. Only thing he really needs to worry about is the nitrates getting to high which is caused by fish waste. He can avoid that by doing water changes or adding plants. For the long run yes a filter would be ideal. These fish will be fine as long as he doesn’t over feed them.

Get some cheap plants like water hyacinth for the pond. They take nitrates out of the water, add cover and they add oxygen to the water. You don’t really need a filter like everyone’s saying, filters help but it’s 100% possible without one.

For worm catching, try the rubbing stick method. I think the idea for this method is you stab one stick on the ground, then you rub the second stick against the other stick. The vibration made by the stick will eventually make the worms go up.

You should look into buying some European night crawlers that way you can feed the fish and use them for fishing. They are really easy to raise and take care of and over winter you would have a ton for spring and summer.Good luck can t wait to see more videos. In order to train the bass u need to be around him a lot and try your best not to spook him, when you try to feed him dont let him see you but make sure u throw the minnow in the same spot every time and the just work you wat up to him feeding out if ur hads may take a while.
