Solid ass review glad you are back and I had the original release of the half split and you perfectly described the paint it is pretty slick until you thrash it and then the dents and divits give almost a little bit of a shiny rubbery kind of feel if that makes sense and it gains a consistent grip again

It's a bit frustrating at first for sure, but once the paint and bevel breaks in it really becomes fun to play. Glad you stuck it through and are enjoying it!

i agree with the opening statement about the 3 big companies. small companies are where its at. i recommend checking analogs new shapes out and cereals shapes. and if you can get your hands on one, a friction clear sulab. glad your back dude!

Kaizen half split, I elected to go with the baby blue/white silk paint. Paint type isn't gonna matter too much for a newbie but I hope it's as grippy over time as the super stick KUSA paint. Nice vid! Glad your head is okay! Ouchie. Love the synopsis. I agree this shape is larger but not clunky, I do struggle with the smaller bevel to thicker spike ratio. I agree the oops should’ve been a 2good! Now that I think about it, Sweets also has a shape price guard if you include the Target dama as one of their budget options. :)

Well krom maybe don’t have kendamas with a 2good shape selling for 25-30€,but they have kendamas with 1% shape which is an awsome shape!per haps the krom strogo kendamas,they are preaty awsome in my opinion,i would love to see a review from you on thoes kendamas🙏😋

Krom had an interesting way with their low budget damas. I loved their pops when they first came out. Then they had three options: 1. Provide a premium shape with it. 2. Provide a premium clear with it. 3. Update the whole thing. (Clear and shape) And they went with giving it a premium clear but a "worse" shape. Maybe they should've gone the sweets way and hide the lol clear behind a paywall instead of the 2good shape.

if you're just interested in the cup sizes: the large and small cup are maaaybeee a tiny bit bigger on the NOVA than the Boost, the base cup is definitely a little bigger on the NOVA and overall it feels a little bigger all around but not a crazy size difference. It's kinda hard to talk about how they both "feel" compared to each other. I'd just suggested giving the Nova a shot! I think you'll like it

It'll slowly get longer as you keep playing with it, but I like spikes super long so I sand them a bit usually as well. Just be careful because if you over do it just a little bit it can ruin the whole ken

Finally, another ken cult video!!! yey Btw just sharing my thoughts on KUSA paints. He's right on super stick having a phase having it slick given if your hands sweats alot, BUT me personally, I still have my shift half split tama that is played for a bit and have it lie around and catch some dust and let me tell you guys.... KUSA CLEARS (silk or super stick around shift-slim 2.0 era) age like fine wine when barely played for a year or more if you guys are patient & only play on a small rotation of damas. Also, I saw you have a FC tama... wonder if you plan getting a full Sulab Sync setup. If you guys miss the shifts, Su Lab's Sync Kens are like KUSA Shift's long lost brother. Only difference which Ken Cult might like is thicker stalls, everything else on the Sync kens are pretty much virtually identical (cup size and and how tall the ken is) Other than that, great video :D hope to see the next video you put up
