Hi Kendra, I started watching you about 3 years ago when I wanted to start my loc journey. I started my micro/braid locs on my own 2.5 years ago and have maintained them by myself. This video just simply gives me so much validation that I am doing it right. I use this exact same technique to retighten my hair with one exception. I use a 3-point rotation instead of 2-point. Thank you and keep up the great work! 😊❤

I've been following you for years!!! And I was contemplating if I should loc my hair or not for couple years and 4 years ago when I saw u loc your hair I went straight ago and loc my hair ❤ 4 years ago and that ls the best thing I've done for my hair.

You should do it I remember, she did this almost 4 or 5 years ago if I were to start the same time my hair would have been the same length. I recently started my love Journey 3 months ago. Just go for it.

Thanks for the video..I am 3.5 years locd. With palm rolling.. but i do not like the loose roots, unable to wear hair down as my roots get to puffy.. not my desired look. I have micro and I am thinking about doing reties instead, and do it myself. Its worth a try, before I cut off my locs. ❤❤❤

You have such beautiful hair. I hope my sister locs will look like yours one day. I put my sister twist locs two and a half months ago while on holiday in Africa. I love them so much. I have now come to where I need to dye my hair and retwist after. Our options of hairdressers here in Europe is very limited. The hairdresser I usually use basically told me to get them out, dye my hair, condition it and then she will retwist it agaain but not as small I want them. She told me her fingers were too fat to twist such small micro twists. Translation, she was politely telling me she doesn`t want to do them. I cried afterwards. I really want to keep my hair just as it is. I`m not good with hair at all. I`ve watched your videos on how to dye your roots, maintaing and retwisting sister locs. I`m really scared coz I`m afraid I won`t manage to do it on my own and I`ll end up ruining my sister locs. It will break my heart if I loose my sister locs. 😔😪

Hello Ms Kendra. I started my microloc journey on Dec. 9. My loctician will do my first retie next week. For the back of your head, what is your 2pt rotation? Do you start at the top and go down towards your back? Then do you go from left to right, or right to left...or does the second point direction matter? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing this. I am about to start doing my reties. I will be 1 year loc'd on the 29th of this month. I have at least 2 dozen bunches/buds that have formed. I wanted my locs to be the same saize or as close to the same size from root to tip. How can i minimize some of these larger buds?
@promostk Жыл бұрын
I have the same issue with bunching. I am in my 19th month
@dreababygirl Жыл бұрын
I’ve been locked for a while (ignore my thumbnail pic lol) and most of my ends have buds and they’re all different! One thing you can do is comb out the end so it relocks, or just embrace the uniqueness of each loc. Remember you have different textures throughout your hair so the locs may differ
