If this makes you think learning new language is tedious, try the way people were learning languages barely three decades ago. I remember purchasing Daily News every day in New York and spending hours with my dictionary. No computers, no IPads no smartphones. Word for word. And how often those translations didn’t make any sense 😀 This is soooo much easier. Just memorize whole sentences. Forget grammar, forget style. Just listen and repeat. Thank you Kendra,s Learning School. You bring necessary courage to the process of learning!

As a beginner, this video is so much effective to me not only for pronunciation but also for conservation practice. Thank you, Kendra's Language School.

I've been studying French with Duolingo since November. I love it. It's not perfect. I use Google translate on my phone to double check things. But it's a great way to learn alone.
