Here is my LG tip: oil your cutting boards and wooden utensils with the mineral oil you find in the health section of the store. It's food safe as it's meant to be ingested as a laxative and it's way cheaper than the fancy oils marketed for boards and utensils. 😉

This is probably my favorite yet. It actually helped me explain to my husband why I have the wooden spoons I have and the utensils, Tom, that I have. Thank you very much love this series. Love everything about you. Love you but

I knew it wouldn’t, but my heart wanted this to include an Erin of Grievances about spoons. 😆

As an avid cook, I forget that people dont know what to do with all of their utensils so this is really helpful to think about!

I have been so enjoying these videos! I’d love for them to continue even after May 3rd. Can’t wait to read the book!

I love the flat edged spoons and go for those first! They help break up ground meat, and as said scrap up pan fond.

Yep. So good for just moving things around the pan and stir fry

I LOVE Erin's honest reactions! I know my way around the kitchen but I'm sure there are people around that see my similar reactions to other areas of life. I feel more comfortable knowing it's OK to need guidance like Erin does.

So what matters to me the most when eating is to not die… so many food allergies. I need a lazy genius website that lets me put in all the foods I can’t eat and have it give me a recipe.

You can also sand the wooden tools with fine sandpaper before oiling

my moto for years is, if it's not useful then get rid of it. because stuff just builds up & then there's clutter everywhere. no thank you & send to thrift/charity shop. xx

Am I the only one who doesn't use wooden utensils? That was the first thing to go when my SO and I moved in together and amalgamated our stuff. I suppose they're the most ecofriendly option but I loathe how they feel, I'm too aware of how they can never be fully cleaned, it's too finicky about how they must be cleaned and cared for, and they don't work as well as the other options available.

Now I need to go oil my wooden spoons. I have mineral oil for my wood cutting boards but didn't think to use it for my wooden spoons that *ahem* feel like I need to exfoliate

I have a wooden spoon that is like a spork and I have *never* used it. So long, useless spork!!!
