People aren't very familiar with the sound of the music in tpab so they liked the other albums more. I mean most of the hype of maad city was from people enjoying the big bass drop from maad city and it was at a time where vine blew up a lot and so many viners used this in their vines so people checked out the song. I feel tpab is more powerful and deeper IMO but definitely cut close. I might feel this way cuz tpab came out not very long ago but i think i wont change my mind on tpab being more powerful
