Here to be able to picture Kendrick recording "Not like Us" 😭 He really got a whole nation realizing we don’t even fxck w Drake with a few songs. Everybody was bumming his shit, it’s Drake. Kendrick deserves the crown, That man just made a part of history, whole nation, black communities coming together dancing on a track. I know Pac proud as hell up there 🙏🏼

I'm looking forward to hear what he's doing next. I hope he comes with something new again. I need to hear some new inspirational sounds. I don't like that Pharrell is telling him to keep making what he's already made. Jazz is cool, but we don't need another Pimp a Butterfly. If he takes jazz in a new direction, cool, but recycling has never been Kendricks sound. Beating a sound to death is what the Neptunes did for years, and that's why we don't hear many Neptunes beats anymore. My favorite Kendrick song is Backseat Freestyle. He sounds best when he spits over stripped down beats in my opinion. It allows him to do more with his vocals.
