I believe hes talking about himself and someone else its hard to tell when he switch's back n forth between his own stress and the stress of others. The random sounds of the spanish maid mixed with those haunting voices gives the track a disoriented feel its amazing from the sax intensifying at certain parts. A+

I remember being in my algebra class one day when there was a subsitute teacher so there was like barely any work and we got to listen to music so i decided to listen to To Pimp A Butterfly. When i got to this song and heard just the intense stress and suffering this song conveyed it just hit me and I found it hard to keep myself from crying in class. Hearing Kendrick talk about how much he hated himself for everything that happened and how nothing could fix the pain and guilt he had was heartbreaking. Fast forward to today and hearing this gave me that same intense feeling i got when i heard it the first time. Hands down one of the most emotionally intense songs ive ever listened to

crazy how a song has your back more than your friends. (edit: i cried so hard this day, lost everything) Update: not that anyone actually sees this but i dropped my toxic friends and now doing so much better without them. They are using girls for sex and shit and i’m now talking to a girl for her personality and who she is, found some better friends and hit the gym again. I’m in the i phase of my life, and i hope everyone stuck in the deep dark hole that i was once in recovers. I used to want to kill myself everyday and never did it. God helped me not trying to make very religious and all but someone to talk to when no one is there for you really helps.
