I like how Kendrick and sza have been adding synthwave/vaporwave elements to their music. Something I've been expecting in hip hop for a while now that hasn't really been done well in a mainstream fashion to this point

I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting from this reaction... but I'm satisfied overall. A little upfront (totally non-pedantic) housekeeping: SZA and Dot's interview ran in Harper's Bazaar - not Vanity Fair. So, there's that. I liked the somewhat meandering pace of the Ugandan rappers story. By the time we tied it to SZAs cargo pants, it was essentially a callback - because I had already forgotten that was the starting point. I still know little to nothing about the actual song, so I'll rectify that now. Good day, friends.
