What an awesome experiment! I thought it was just me. You can't judge distance with FPV. And the systems I use are nowhere as complex as the DJI system. And, so true. we really do take our peripheral vision for granted. Thanks for doing this.

what you did with the car, is exactly the issue i have with the drone flying FPV .. the spatial awareness is really key! .. somethings one really needs to learn. would be really cool if you would make a video about this (awareness when flying with the googles on) awesome stuff, that made my day ! oh yes and Pixel me KEN! :P

Cool video! Try head-tracking using Mavic to a car. I use DJI FPV with head-tracking to fly RC Jet in close formation with my buddy. Works really well!
