the music coming out of japan during the late 80s to early 2000s was truly incredible. these new age artists were tapping into pure expression and its something i find myself chasing after often

It’s early autumn and I’m spending time on countryside alone. I spent this day walking by the endless field, set near water and half of hour ago had an amazing dinner enjoying the sky gradient. Now I’m on the balcony, looking at the candle that burns out its last minutes, the incense stick is burning nearby and I like its shadow on the brick house, which is created by the light from the candle. It’s quite cold outside for the start of September, but I drink a cold IPA beer, because the bitter and rich taste of it fits the atmosphere. This beautiful album is playing from inside of house and I can hear the sounds.

I love this music because it can either be relaxing and calming; or bittersweet and melancholy, reminiscing of a past love that never happened or a life that you simply cannot afford or get the chance to live. It has a very.. empty feeling. Like a beach with nobody on it, save for the calm blowing of the wind and the swishing of the nearby trees. A white sand beach, nearing sunset, and you're the only person that can be there to enjoy it. Like there should be someone else, but this person does not exist. The way you can interpret this music changes with time.

I can't find much bio info on Kenichiro Isoda. All I know is that he's from Osaka, Japan and his brother is a video game creator. I would love to know more about this wonderful musician.

There's an interview with him from August 2023 on the Fond/Sound blog; I haven't had any luck posting the link here, but if you google "Fond/Sound Kenichiro Isoda", it'll come up.

確定ではないですが、映ってる山が日本の沖縄県の城山(ぐすくさん)の様な気がします。 日本人より🇯🇵

The Japanese commenter is right; the outline of the mountain really does look like Mt. Gusuku in Okinawa. I'm not positive it isn't a composite photo (the foreground may have been edited in from some other picture), but the area around the mountain is pretty sure to be Okinawa.
