I am fairly certain that the paint on the arms on a figure like these is sealed, so getting them wet shouldn't be an issue. The hot water method is better because it evenly heats the plastic, getting deeper into it to make popping them easier. A heat gun is focusing a lot of heat in a very small area, and can risk burning. Luckily it worked out okay for you here! But hot water shouldn't be an issue if you want to use it in the future for easier removals

Great video and custom paint. I recently did the arm mod, but I didnt shave off the forearm. I found that if i just heated up the gauntlets I was able to just force them up higher on the forearms and the hands were able to fit just fine.

Amazing paint work on Wolverine's head, especially the facial hair! The fixed face exactly resembles H Jackman's face in the films. I think this fixed head is the best so far!

Well done! I would have cheaped out and used G.I. Joe Classified Tomax and Xamot arms. Those figures are cheaper and less rare than the sleeveless Wolvierne.

On one hand i think it's amazing that we finally got a comic accurate costume and the biggest complaint we have is that the arms aren't showing. But on the other hand it looks amazing and near perfect once you do have the arms exposed and i wish we got more of that in the movie.

Dude hot water is way better than the heat gun to take off arms, it doesnt affect the paint at all and you dont damage your figure unlike you did with the heat gun

Ken I Make It. The folded ears on mask is not just yours. It is on all models, including the ZD toys. Also, instead of ruining your Marvel Legends figures, if you had just gone to maniple studios, they made custom arms specifically for Wolverine with gauntlets attached.

Good thing marvel legends' heads are all swappable. this logan's face is nonchalant. But I have the teeth gritting face from the white tank top Logan & the shouting face from the brown leather jacket Logan. Time to swap heads! 🤣 Also, i don't care about movie accuracy. After swapping the sleeveless arms from the white tank top logan body into this yellow suit wolverine, I would glue those two blue shoulder pads back on the black butterfly joints while having sleeveless arms for comic book & animated accuracy. All we need is a pair of bloody claws, suit damaged with bullet holes & two angry heads with cowel on; - one teeth gritting, & the other is shouting. 😅

As much as I love the sleeveless arms mod. The legacy figure arms are way to bulky compared to Jackman's actual arms in the movie. Plus the sleeveless arms look really long on the figure. You just know hasbro being hasbro they'll 100% do a sleeveless battle damaged wolverine with angry face in the future.
