I’ve seen various of your videos yesterday, and let me tell you, you’re a master at fixing these Figures to make them more “Movie Accurate”! Since this is my favorite Marvel Legends Series figure of Captain America/Steve Rogers from the MCU, I was so amazed to see how you’ve worked on Steve here, it looks like a new Release of the figure of the Infinity Saga Edition from Hasbro.

I just bought one on eBay. This video was a big part of that purchase. I also thought the civil war cap was superior, but the way you explained it and posed it and even painted it made me change my mind. I hope I can recreate what you did with his hair.

Did you paint his scales, and if so what color? I’m not sure if I should paint the scales in mine, because I’m posters and stuff they are like a shiny baby blue, but in others they seem to be either plain blue, or just silver.

I was struggling a bit with the scales too. I lightly brushed some silver over them but that became too shiny/reflective and I had to tone them down.

Interesting, I always thought this new one's proportions were better. But he really lacked paint, that is for sure. I painted mine's scales on the chest and shoulders and touched up paint here and there. Though, I like the toyish look of my figures so I didn't go too hard on it. Love the video!

I use acrylic paint from the dollar store haha. I recommend using paint you are familiar with.

I use dollar store acrylic paint haha. There are definitely better brands. Use the paint that you are familiar with and trust.

You underestimated the base figure and overestimated your custom too much. The blue you used in the scales are off, the head didn't drastically improve and still dull, you could've given it a repaint, the white part in his abs are off and you could have also given it a gray tone. The paints you used also looked cheap hence the cheap finish result. You also said how it looks short but did nothing to fix it at all.
