Just a idea... Lay down large pipes along the bottom of the water flow area and cover them up in brush.. Have the intake be like 4-5m away from where the dam will be, then build the damn about half a meter from the outflow keeping it on the ground and under the water line they allow... That should allow them to feel like they get there home, but allows you water control.... They say the sound of running water trigger them to build the damn so might want to put the pipe under ground.. Can also brake up the water out put in smaller pipes down stream.

These videos are amazing. Not only is the sound of the water peaceful and memorizing, I’m amazed at the strength of the beavers when I see the size of some of the sticks they’ve used in their dam building. I think they must go to the gym but I really enjoy the commentary and see his English getting so much stronger. Great work.

@@craighawke5702 It is a similar color in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin, but not from pollution. It is from the tannin in the native evergreen trees. The waster is rust-brown.

Gene Plumley removes by hand for the local authorities when they can't bring in mechanical equipment. He's really good, like MsTech, he removes every trace, very professional. Based up near Toronto, people should check out his channel. Kenislovas leaves too much behind which makes it easier for the beavers to rebuild.

It is in Lithuania, there might be different laws. also from what I understand that discharge is primarily just a little beet juice mixed with water, it might dye your clothes but it really wont hurt anything.

beetjuice is incredibly concentrated, so even such a massive backfill of several thousands of liters only needs a few liters of juice to get stained deep red.

Yes, the color is pretty, but the runoff from beet processing factories is an environmental hazard. In some western states in the USA, beet processing runoff is a bigger problem than chemical runoff. The EPA has done studies. Several beet processors have had to pay million dollar settlements. I'm glad Kenislovas wear tall waders.

Everywhere a beaver builds a dam, trees die from extended flooding. It's a trade-off. When their dams fail, there's uncontrolled flooding down stream. When they don't fail, there's uncontrolled flooding up stream
