There are so many things that set this anime apart from others of it's genre and I just noticed another, Shin's grandparents are with him pretty much throughout his journey, most MC's who are reborn into a new world with a family usually stay until they come of age and leave home(or sometimes they die), and the rest of the journey we see them on their own and later picking up friends or party members, but rarely do we see them going back home or keeping in touch with their family.

In all fairness the wolfords could be considered a parallel royal family to the earlshides I think that is how it is spelled could be wrong and what I mean by parallel royal family is that they are basically the highest noble family without actually being called nobles but everyone accepts that they are close too the royal family in a way no one else will ever be Merlin and dis are basically brothers without a doubt
